संक्रमा भेदिताः सर्वे नावश च परतिषेधिताः परिखाश चापि कौरव्य कीलैः सुनिचिताः कृताः ।। ३-१६-१५ ।।

'Bridges over rivers were destroyed, boats were prohibited, and the city’s trenches were fortified with spikes.' ।। 3-16-15 ।।

english translation

saMkramA bheditAH sarve nAvaza ca paratiSedhitAH parikhAza cApi kauravya kIlaiH sunicitAH kRtAH || 3-16-15 ||
