परीक्षमाणः पार्थानां कलापानि धनूंषि च अन्तरं समभिप्रेप्सुर नाम्ना खयातॊ जटासुरः ।। ३-१५४-४ ।।

sanskrit

'His intent was to seize the bows, quivers, and other martial equipment belonging to the Pandavas, and he had been watching for an opportunity of ravishing Draupadi. And that wicked and sinful one was named Jatasura..' ।। 3-154-4 ।।

english translation

parIkSamANaH pArthAnAM kalApAni dhanUMSi ca antaraM samabhiprepsura nAmnA khayAtò jaTAsuraH || 3-154-4 ||
