एतत कार्यं महाबाहॊ येनाहं नागमं तदा शरुत्वैव हास्तिनपुरं दयूतं चाविनयॊत्थितम ।। ३-१५-२२ ।।

'O mighty-armed one, this conflict is why I could not come to you sooner. As soon as I heard about the unfair dice game at Hastinapur, I rushed here, eager to see you, who are immersed in distress.' ।। 3-15-22 ।।

english translation

etata kAryaM mahAbAhò yenAhaM nAgamaM tadA zarutvaiva hAstinapuraM dayUtaM cAvinayòtthitama || 3-15-22 ||
