बलिहॊमनमस्कारैर मन्त्रैश च भरतर्षभ दैवतानि परसादं हि भक्त्या कुर्वन्ति भारत ॥ ३-१४९-२४ ॥
'O best of the Bharata race, the gods bestow their favor upon humans through offerings, sacrifices, reverential salutations, the recitation of mantras, and veneration.' ॥ 3-149-24 ॥
