समाश्रमं समाचारं समज्ञानमती बलम तदा हि समकर्माणॊ वर्णा धर्मान अवाप्नुवन ॥ ३-१४८-१८ ॥
'At that time, with equal residence, equal conduct, equal knowledge, and equal mental strength, the different social classes (varnas) obtained their respective dharmas (duties/righteous paths) through harmonious actions.' ॥ 3-148-18 ॥
