वृद्धेभ्य एवेह मतिं सम बाला; गृह्णन्ति कालेन भवन्ति वृद्धाः न हि जञानम अल्पकालेन शक्यं; कस्माद बालॊ वृद्ध इवावभाषसे ॥ ३-१३३-१० ॥
'The warder replied, "Boys learn from the elders, and in time, they too grow old. Knowledge, indeed, cannot be attained in a short span. Why then, being but a child, do you speak as though you are an old man?"' ॥ 3-133-10 ॥
