पञ्चेमे पञ्चभिर जाताः कुमाराश चामितौजसः एतेषाम अप्य अवेक्षार्थं तरातव्यास्मि जनार्दन ॥ ३-१३-६४ ॥
'These five mighty sons were born from the five [Pandavas]. For the sake of protecting them too, O Janardana, I must be saved.' ॥ 3-13-64 ॥
