यत समर्थं पाण्डवानां तत करिष्यामि मा शुचः सत्यं ते परतिजानामि राज्ञां राज्ञी भविष्यसि ॥ ३-१३-११६ ॥
'Do not grieve, for I will exert all my powers for the sons of Pandu. I assure you that you shall once again be the queen of kings!' ॥ 3-13-116 ॥
english translation
पतेद दयौर हिमवाञ शीर्येत पृथिवी शकलीभवेत शुष्येत तॊयनिधिः कृष्णे न मे मॊघं वचॊ भवेत ॥ ३-१३-११७ ॥
'Even if the heavens were to fall, or the Himalayas were to split, or the earth were to quake, or the ocean were to dry up, my words will never be in vain!' ॥ 3-13-117 ॥

[धृस्त] अहं दरॊणं हनिष्यामि शिखण्डी तु पितामहम दुर्यॊधनं भीमसेनः कर्णं हन्ता धनंजयः ॥ ३-१३-११८ ॥
'Dhrishtadyumna said, "I will slay Drona, and Sikhandin will defeat the grandfather. Bhimasena will vanquish Duryodhana, and Dhananjaya will deal with Karna."' ॥ 3-13-118 ॥

राम कृष्णौ वयपाश्रित्य अजेयाः सम शुचिस्मिते अपि वृत्रहणा युद्धे किं पुनर धृतराष्ट्रजैः ॥ ३-१३-११९ ॥
'O sister, with Rama and Krishna on our side, we are invincible even against the slayer of Vritra himself. What then are the sons of Dhritarashtra against us?' ॥ 3-13-119 ॥

[वै] इत्य उक्ते ऽभिमुखा वीरा वासुदेव्वम उपस्थिता तेषां मध्ये महाबाहुः केशवॊ वाक्यम अब्रवीत ॥ ३-१३-१२० ॥
'Vaisampayana continued, 'After these words were spoken, all the heroes turned their faces toward Vasudeva. In their midst, the mighty-armed Keshava then began to speak as follows.'' ॥ 3-13-120 ॥
