परशास्य सुचिरं कालं राज्यं राजीवलॊचनः पौत्रे भारं समावेश्य जगाम तरिदिवं तदा ॥ ३-१०६-३४ ॥

sanskrit

'And the lotus-eyed King Sagara, having ruled his kingdom for an extended period, entrusted his grandson with the responsibilities of the throne and then ascended to heaven.' ॥ 3-106-34 ॥

english translation

parazAsya suciraM kAlaM rAjyaM rAjIvalòcanaH pautre bhAraM samAvezya jagAma taridivaM tadA ॥ 3-106-34 ॥
