तव चैव परभावेण सवर्गं यास्यन्ति सागराः पौत्रश च ते तरिपथ गां तरिदिवाद आनयिष्यति पावनार्थं सागराणां तॊषयित्वा महेश्वरम ।। ३-१०६-२७ ।।

sanskrit

'Through your merit, the sons of Sagara will attain heaven, freed from the consequences of their untimely deaths. Your grandson, with the intent of purifying them, will earn the grace of the great god Shiva through rigorous austerities and will bring forth the river that flows in three separate streams, Ganga, O chief of men!' ।। 3-106-27 ।।

english translation

tava caiva parabhAveNa savargaM yAsyanti sAgarAH pautraza ca te taripatha gAM taridivAda AnayiSyati pAvanArthaM sAgarANAM tòSayitvA mahezvarama || 3-106-27 ||
