[देवा] इतः परदानाद वर्तन्ते परजाः सर्वाश चतुर्विधाः ता भाविता भावयन्ति हव्यकव्यैर दिवौकसः ॥ ३-१०१-१ ॥
'The celestials said, "It is by your grace that all living beings of the four kinds thrive. Created by you, they offer their reverence to the heavenly beings through sacrifices made to the gods and in honor of their departed ancestors."' ॥ 3-101-1 ॥
