[व] एवं दयूतजिताः पार्थाः कॊपिताश च दुरात्मभिः धार्तराष्ट्रैः सहामात्यैर निर्ययुर गजसाह्वयात ।। ३-१-८ ।।

sanskrit

'Vaisampayana said, "Thus defeated in the game of dice and incensed by the wicked sons of Dhritarashtra and their counselors, the sons of Pritha departed from Hastinapura."' ।। 3-1-8 ।।

english translation

[va] evaM dayUtajitAH pArthAH kòpitAza ca durAtmabhiH dhArtarASTraiH sahAmAtyaira niryayura gajasAhvayAta || 3-1-8 ||
