गङ्गायास तव अथ राजेन्द्र सागरस्य च संगमे अश्वमेधं दशगुणं परवदन्ति मनीषिणः ।। ३-८३-४ ।।

sanskrit

'Furthermore, it is said by the wise, O King, that if one journeys to the point where the Ganga meets the sea, they will reap merit ten times greater than that of the horse sacrifice.' ।। 3-83-4 ।।

english translation

gaGgAyAsa tava atha rAjendra sAgarasya ca saMgame azvamedhaM dazaguNaM paravadanti manISiNaH || 3-83-4 ||
