आसीन मद्रेषु धर्मात्मा राजा परमधार्मिकः बरह्मण्यश च शरण्यश च सत्यसंधॊ जितेन्द्रियः ॥ ३-२७७-५ ॥
'There was a king in the land of the Madras, virtuous and deeply devoted to righteousness. He constantly served the Brahmanas, was high-souled and unwavering in his word.' ॥ 3-277-5 ॥
