तौ शरैर आचितौ वीरौ भरातरौ रामलक्ष्मणौ पेततुर गगनाद भूमिं सूर्या चन्द्रमसाव इव ॥ ३-२७२-२६ ॥

sanskrit

'And the heroic brothers, Rama and Lakshmana, pierced all over with arrows, fell to the ground like the Sun and the Moon descending from the sky.' ॥ 3-272-26 ॥

english translation

tau zaraira Acitau vIrau bharAtarau rAmalakSmaNau petatura gaganAda bhUmiM sUryA candramasAva iva ॥ 3-272-26 ॥
