मुसलालात नाराचतॊमरासि परश्वधैः अन्विताश च शतघ्नीभिः समधूच छिष्ट मुद्गराः ॥ ३-२६८-५ ॥

'They were also equipped with clubs, firebrands, arrows, lances, swords, and battle-axes. Additionally, they wielded Sataghnis and heavy maces, their surfaces coated with hardened wax for greater impact.' ॥ 3-268-5 ॥
