चरमाणस तु सॊ ऽरण्ये तृणवीरुत समावृते कृष्णाजिनॊत्तरासङ्गं ददर्श मुनिम अन्तिके स तेन निहतॊ ऽरण्ये मन्यमानेन वै मृगम ।। ३-१८२-४ ।।

sanskrit

'While roaming through a wilderness of towering trees and dense thickets, he spotted a figure in the distance— a sage, clad in the skin of a black antelope. Mistaking him for a deer, the prince struck him down.' ।। 3-182-4 ।।

english translation

caramANasa tu sò 'raNye tRNavIruta samAvRte kRSNAjinòttarAsaGgaM dadarza munima antike sa tena nihatò 'raNye manyamAnena vai mRgama || 3-182-4 ||
