इक्ष्वाकुवंशप्रभवॊ युवनाश्वॊ महीपतिः सॊ ऽयजत पृथिवीपाल ऋतुभिर भूरिदक्षिणैः ॥ ३-१२६-५ ॥

sanskrit

'Yuvanaswa, the sovereign of the earth, descended from the noble Ikshvaku lineage. As the protector of the realm, he conducted numerous grand sacrifices, renowned for their abundant offerings.' ॥ 3-126-5 ॥

english translation

ikSvAkuvaMzaprabhavò yuvanAzvò mahIpatiH sò 'yajata pRthivIpAla Rtubhira bhUridakSiNaiH ॥ 3-126-5 ॥
