Vishnu Sahasranama Stotram
अमृतांशूद्भवो भानुः शशबिन्दुः सुरेश्वरः। औषधं जगतः सेतुः सत्यधर्मपराक्रमः॥३१॥
He is amṛtāṃśūdbhavaḥ – born from or associated with the immortal nectar (or the moon which is the source of amruta); bhānuḥ – the radiant Sun who dispels darkness; śaśabinduḥ – the drop or essence of the moon, symbolic of purity and coolness; and surēśvaraḥ – the supreme Lord and ruler of all the devas. He is auṣadham – the divine medicine, the ultimate remedy for the suffering of the world; jagataḥ sētuḥ – the bridge or support that upholds and connects the worlds, ensuring cosmic order; and satyadharma-parākramaḥ – the one whose power (paraakrama) is rooted in Truth (satyam) and Righteousness (dharma), and who establishes these through divine strength.
