Pṛthu halted ninety-nine horse sacrifices after Brahmā forbade the hundredth to prevent irreligious systems. He forgave Indra, accepted divine guidance, and prioritized hearing the Lord’s glories over material benedictions. Pṛthu attained Kṛṣṇa consciousness through austerity and honored the Kumāras. Nārada taught King Prācīnabarhiṣat that true happiness transcends material duty, using King Purañjana’s life as an allegory for the soul’s entrapment.
