राजधानी यमस्यैषा कष्टेन तमसा वृता । एतावदेव युष्माभिर्वीरा वानरपुङ्गवाः । शक्यं विचेतुं गन्तुं वा नातो गतिमतां गतिः ॥ ४-४१-४६
'O heroic monkeys that is the capital of Yama (god of death) covered with pitch darkness. You can go till that place. Beyond, there is no access for the earthlings. ॥ 4-41-46॥
english translation
rAjadhAnI yamasyaiSA kaSTena tamasA vRtA । etAvadeva yuSmAbhirvIrA vAnarapuGgavAH । zakyaM vicetuM gantuM vA nAto gatimatAM gatiH ॥ 4-41-46
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वमेतत्समालोक्य यच्चान्यदपि दृश्यते । गतिं विदित्वा वैदेह्या स्सन्निवर्तितुमर्हथ ॥ ४-४१-४७
'Ransack this and all other places you can see. You should search for the whereabouts of Vaidehi before you return. ॥ 4-41-47॥

sarvametatsamAlokya yaccAnyadapi dRzyate । gatiM viditvA vaidehyA ssannivartitumarhatha ॥ 4-41-47
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयस्तु मासान्निवृत्तोऽग्रे दृष्टा सीतेति वक्ष्यति । मत्तुल्यविभवो भोगै स्सुखं स विहरिष्यति ॥ ४-४१-४८
'He who returns in a month to announce Sita has been found will spend his life in luxury with as much prosperity as I do have. ॥ 4-41-48॥

yastu mAsAnnivRtto'gre dRSTA sIteti vakSyati । mattulyavibhavo bhogai ssukhaM sa vihariSyati ॥ 4-41-48
hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः प्रियतरो नास्ति मम प्राणाद्विशेषतः । कृतापराधो बहुशो मम बन्धुर्भविष्यति ॥ ४-४१-४९
'None will be dearer to me than he. Even if he has made a mistake, he will be to me dear and near. ॥ 4-41-49॥

tataH priyataro nAsti mama prANAdvizeSataH । kRtAparAdho bahuzo mama bandhurbhaviSyati ॥ 4-41-49
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअमितबलपराक्रमा भवन्तो विपुलगुणेषु कुलेषु च प्रसूताः । मनुजपतिसुतां यथा लभध्वं तदधिगुणं पुरुषार्थमारभध्वम् ॥ ४-४१-५०
All of you are immeasurably mighty and powerful, born in the best clan with many virtues. Possessing meritorious quality, in whatever way, you find daughter of the king (princess Sita) and begin it with righteous pursuit.' ॥ 4-41-50॥

amitabalaparAkramA bhavanto vipulaguNeSu kuleSu ca prasUtAH । manujapatisutAM yathA labhadhvaM tadadhiguNaM puruSArthamArabhadhvam ॥ 4-41-50
