ततो निपतितां तारां च्युतां तारामिवाम्बरात् । शनैराश्वासयामास हनुमान्हरियूथपः ॥ ४-२१-१
Thereafter Hanuman, leader of the monkey clan, slowly consoled Tara who was ( standing before her husband ) like a star fallen from the sky. ॥ 4-21-1॥

tato nipatitAM tArAM cyutAM tArAmivAmbarAt । zanairAzvAsayAmAsa hanumAnhariyUthapaH ॥ 4-21-1
hk transliteration by Sanscriptगुणदोषकृतं जन्तुस्स्वकर्म फलहेतुकम् । अव्यग्रस्तदवाप्नोति सर्वं प्रेत्य शुभाशुभम् ॥ ४-२१-२
'On departing from this mortal world an embodied soul reaps gradually the good and evil fruits of action performed under the notion of virtue or vice with an eye to their good or evil consequences. ॥ 4-21-2॥

guNadoSakRtaM jantussvakarma phalahetukam । avyagrastadavApnoti sarvaM pretya zubhAzubham ॥ 4-21-2
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशोच्या शोचसि कं शोच्यं दीनं दीनाऽनुकम्पसे । कस्य कोवाऽनुशोच्योऽस्ति देहेऽस्मिन् बुद्बुदोपमे ॥ ४-२१-३
'For whom do you grieve except for yourself? You are miserable. Who are you sympathising with? Who are you grieving for? When this body itself is like a bubble, who is worth grieving for? ॥ 4-21-3॥

zocyA zocasi kaM zocyaM dInaM dInA'nukampase । kasya kovA'nuzocyo'sti dehe'smin budbudopame ॥ 4-21-3
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअङ्गदस्तु कुमारोऽयं द्रष्टव्यो जीवपुत्रया । अयत्यां च विधेयानि समर्थान्यस्य चिन्तय ॥ ४-२१-४
'You are mother of a surviving son, Angada. You have to look after him in times to come. Think of the duties to be performed now. ॥ 4-21-4॥

aGgadastu kumAro'yaM draSTavyo jIvaputrayA । ayatyAM ca vidheyAni samarthAnyasya cintaya ॥ 4-21-4
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजानास्यनियतामेवं भूतानामागतिं गतिम् । तस्माच्छुभं हि कर्तव्यं पण्डितेनैह लौकिकम् ॥ ४-२१-५
'You are aware of the uncertain and transient happenings in the lives of living beings. Therefore, a wise lady should do auspicious work in this world. ॥ 4-21-5॥

jAnAsyaniyatAmevaM bhUtAnAmAgatiM gatim । tasmAcchubhaM hi kartavyaM paNDitenaiha laukikam ॥ 4-21-5
