प्रकाशमभिरामं च ददृशुर्देशमुत्तमम् । ततस्तस्मिन्बिले दुर्गे नानापादपसङ्कुले ॥ ४-५०-२१
- they saw bright light and an excellent delightful place. Inside the cave that was densely covered with several kinds of trees - ॥ 4-50-21॥

prakAzamabhirAmaM ca dadRzurdezamuttamam । tatastasminbile durge nAnApAdapasaGkule ॥ 4-50-21
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्योन्यं सम्परिष्वज्य जग्मुर्योजनमन्तरम् । ते नष्टसंज्ञास्तृषितास्सम्भ्रान्तास्सलिलार्थिनः ॥ ४-५०-२२
- they went in for a distance of one yojana holding one another's hands. Having nearly lost their senses (without water to drink), the thirsty and bewildered monkeys were desperate for water. ॥ 4-50-22॥

They wandered in the cave without feeling lazy for some time. Those exhausted, enfeebled and with dejected faces monkeys . - ॥ 4-50-23॥

- heroes saw a gleam of light at a time when they were desperate in life. They reached inside the cave having a forest dispelling the surrounding darkness. ॥ 4-50-24॥

AlokaM dadRzurvIrA nirAzA jIvite yadA । tatastaM dezamAgamya saumyA vitimiraM vanam ॥ 4-50-24
hk transliteration by Sanscriptददृशुः काञ्चनान्वृक्षान्दीप्तवैश्वानरप्रभान् । सालां स्तालांश्च पुन्नागान्ककुभान्वञ्जुलान्धवान् ॥ ४-५०-२५
They saw golden trees shining like blazing fire. There they noticed sala, tala, tamala, punnaga, vanjjula, dhava - ॥ 4-50-25॥
