अन्योन्यं सम्परिष्वज्य जग्मुर्योजनमन्तरम् । ते नष्टसंज्ञास्तृषितास्सम्भ्रान्तास्सलिलार्थिनः ॥ ४-५०-२२

- they went in for a distance of one yojana holding one another's hands. Having nearly lost their senses (without water to drink), the thirsty and bewildered monkeys were desperate for water. ॥ 4-50-22॥
