नादेयैः पार्वतीयैश्च सामुद्रैश्च महाबलैः । हरिभिर्मेघनिर्ह्रादैरन्यैश्च वनचारिभिः ॥ ४-३९-१२
- mighty monkeys from the mountains, rivers and seas, thundering like clouds and other free wanderers of the forest - [4-39-12]
english translation
तरुणादित्यवर्णैश्च शशिगौरैश्च वानरैः । पद्मकेसरवर्णैश्च श्वेतैर्मेरुकृतालयैः ॥ ४-३९-१३
- vanaras red in colour like the rising Sun, tawny coloured ones like the Moon some who were of the hue of white lotus filaments and some vanaras residing in mount Meru came there. [4-39-13]

कोटीसहस्रैर्दशभिः श्रीमान्परिवृतस्तदा । वीरश्शतवलिर्नाम वानरः प्रत्यदृश्यत ॥ ४-३९-१४
Then appeared the glorious warrior named Satavali, followed by ten thousand crore of monkeys. [4-39-14]

ततः काञ्चनशैलाभस्ताराया वीर्यवान्पिता । अनेकैर्दशसाहस्रैः कोटिभिः प्रत्यदृश्यत ॥ ४-३९-१५
(Next came) the valiant father of Tara of golden complexion like mount Meru followed by ten thousand crore of vanaras. [4-39-15]
