अनेकवर्णास्सुविनष्टकाया नवोदितेष्वम्बुधरेषु नष्टाः | क्षुधार्दिता घोरविषा बिलेभ्य श्चिरोषिता विप्रसरन्ति सर्पाः || ४-३०-४४

'With no new rainclouds (in the sky), venomous, multicoloured serpents crawl out of the anthills with emacited (hybernated) bodies, troubled by hunger due to long confinement. [4-30-43]

anekavarNAssuvinaSTakAyA navoditeSvambudhareSu naSTAH | kSudhArditA ghoraviSA bilebhya zciroSitA viprasaranti sarpAH || 4-30-44
