जाता वनान्ताश्शिखिसम्प्रनृत्ता जाताः कदम्बाः सकदम्बशाखाः | जाता वृषा गोषु समानकामा जाता मही सस्यवनाभिरामा || ४-२८-२६

'Peacocks dance in the forest. The branches of the kadamba trees get filled with flowers. Bulls long for union with the cows. The earth looks beautiful with green crops and trees. [4-28-26]

jAtA vanAntAzzikhisampranRttA jAtAH kadambAH sakadambazAkhAH | jAtA vRSA goSu samAnakAmA jAtA mahI sasyavanAbhirAmA || 4-28-26
