अङ्गदस्तु कुमारोऽयं वनान्तमुपनिर्गतः । प्रवृत्तिस्तेन कथिता चारै राप्तैर्निवेदिता ॥ ४-१५-१६

अयोध्याधिपतेः पुत्रौ शूरौ समरदुर्जयौ । इक्ष्वाकूणां कुले जातौ प्रथितौ रामलक्ष्मणौ ॥ ४-१५-१७

सुग्रीवप्रियकामार्थं प्राप्तौ तत्र दुरासदौ । तव भ्रातुर्हि विख्यातस्सहायो रणकर्कशः ॥ ४-१५-१८

रामः परबलामर्दी युगान्ताग्निरिवोत्थितः । निवासवृक्षः साधूनामापन्नानां परा गतिः ॥ ४-१५-१९
- like the fire that breaks out at the dissolution of the world. Rama has slain strong enemies like Khara. He is like a sheltering tree to the virtuous, an ultimate refuge for the destitute . - [4-15-19]

आर्तानां संश्रयश्चैव यशसश्चैकभाजनम् । ज्ञानविज्ञानसम्पन्नो निदेशे निरतः पितुः ॥ ४-१५-२०
- and a protector of the distressed. He is the sole repository of fame. He is endowed with the knowledge of science and scriptures. He stood by his father's command. [4-15-20]
