अङ्गदस्तु कुमारोऽयं वनान्तमुपनिर्गतः । प्रवृत्तिस्तेन कथिता चारै राप्तैर्निवेदिता ॥ ४-१५-१६
'When our son Angada was out into the forest he had collected some reports from the spies which he has transmitted to me. ॥ 4-15-16॥

aGgadastu kumAro'yaM vanAntamupanirgataH । pravRttistena kathitA cArai rAptairniveditA ॥ 4-15-16

ayodhyAdhipateH putrau zUrau samaradurjayau । ikSvAkUNAM kule jAtau prathitau rAmalakSmaNau ॥ 4-15-17
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसुग्रीवप्रियकामार्थं प्राप्तौ तत्र दुरासदौ । तव भ्रातुर्हि विख्यातस्सहायो रणकर्कशः ॥ ४-१५-१८
- invincible in war. They have come there to help Sugriva. He ( Rama ) will help your brother. He is famous for crushing foes in war - ॥ 4-15-18॥

sugrIvapriyakAmArthaM prAptau tatra durAsadau । tava bhrAturhi vikhyAtassahAyo raNakarkazaH ॥ 4-15-18
hk transliteration by Sanscriptरामः परबलामर्दी युगान्ताग्निरिवोत्थितः । निवासवृक्षः साधूनामापन्नानां परा गतिः ॥ ४-१५-१९
- like the fire that breaks out at the dissolution of the world. Rama has slain strong enemies like Khara. He is like a sheltering tree to the virtuous, an ultimate refuge for the destitute . - ॥ 4-15-19॥

rAmaH parabalAmardI yugAntAgnirivotthitaH । nivAsavRkSaH sAdhUnAmApannAnAM parA gatiH ॥ 4-15-19
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआर्तानां संश्रयश्चैव यशसश्चैकभाजनम् । ज्ञानविज्ञानसम्पन्नो निदेशे निरतः पितुः ॥ ४-१५-२०
- and a protector of the distressed. He is the sole repository of fame. He is endowed with the knowledge of science and scriptures. He stood by his father's command. ॥ 4-15-20॥
