रामस्य वचनं श्रुत्वा हर्षपौरुषवर्धनम् । सुग्रीवः पूजयाञ्चक्रे राघवं प्रशशंस च ॥ ४-११-१
The words of Rama boosted Sugriva's joy and manliness. He offered him prayers and praise ॥ 4-11-1॥
english translation
rAmasya vacanaM zrutvA harSapauruSavardhanam । sugrIvaH pUjayAJcakre rAghavaM prazazaMsa ca ॥ 4-11-1
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअसंशयं प्रज्वलितैस्तीक्ष्णैर्मर्मातिगैश्शरैः । त्वं दहेः कुपितो लोकान्युगान्त इव भास्करः ॥ ४-११-२
'There is no doubt that your sharp, blazing arrows will pierce through the vital parts of the body once you are angry, just as the Sungod burns all worlds at the end of the Yuga. ॥ 4-11-2॥
english translation
asaMzayaM prajvalitaistIkSNairmarmAtigaizzaraiH । tvaM daheH kupito lokAnyugAnta iva bhAskaraH ॥ 4-11-2
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवालिनः पौरुषं यत्तद्यच्च वीर्यं धृतिश्च या । तन्ममैकमनाश्श्रुत्वा विधत्स्व यदनन्तरम् ॥ ४-११-३
That which is impetuousness of Vali, that which is his bravery and courageousness are there, they may be listened from me single-mindedly, and later you impose that which need be imposed. ॥ 4-11-3॥
english translation
vAlinaH pauruSaM yattadyacca vIryaM dhRtizca yA । tanmamaikamanAzzrutvA vidhatsva yadanantaram ॥ 4-11-3
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमुद्रात्पश्चिमात्पूर्वं दक्षिणादपि चोत्तरम् । क्रामत्यनुदिते सूर्ये वाली व्यपगतक्लमः ॥ ४-११-४
'In the early hours before Sunrise Vali crosses over the oceans from the west to the east and moving from south to north ( performing sandhya ) without getting fatigued. ॥ 4-11-4॥

samudrAtpazcimAtpUrvaM dakSiNAdapi cottaram । krAmatyanudite sUrye vAlI vyapagataklamaH ॥ 4-11-4
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअग्राण्यारुह्य शैलानां शिखराणि महान्त्यपि । ऊर्ध्वमुत्क्षिप्य तरसा प्रतिगृह्णाति वीर्यवान् ॥ ४-११-५
'Climbing up speedily, valiant Vali would catch the huge mountain peaks. ॥ 4-11-5॥

agrANyAruhya zailAnAM zikharANi mahAntyapi । UrdhvamutkSipya tarasA pratigRhNAti vIryavAn ॥ 4-11-5
