तमः सुघोरं गहनं कृतं महद्विदारयद्भूरितरेण रोचिषा । मनोजवं निर्विविशे सुदर्शनं गुणच्युतो रामशरो यथा चमूः ॥ १०-८९-५१ ॥
The Lord’s Sudarśana disc penetrated the darkness with its blazing effulgence. Racing forward with the speed of the mind, it cut through the fearsome, dense oblivion expanded from primeval matter, as an arrow shot from Lord Rāma’s bow cuts through His enemy’s army. ॥ 10-89-51 ॥

भगवान की सुदर्शन चक्र ने अपनी चमकती चमक से अंधेरे को भेद दिया। मन की गति से आगे बढ़ते हुए, यह आदिम पदार्थ से फैले हुए भयानक, घने विस्मृति को काट देता है, जैसे भगवान राम के धनुष से छोड़ा गया तीर उनके दुश्मन की सेना को काट देता है। ॥ १०-८९-५१ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptद्वारेण चक्रानुपथेन तत्तमः परं परं ज्योतिरनन्तपारम् । समश्नुवानं प्रसमीक्ष्य फाल्गुनः प्रताडिताक्षो पिदधेऽक्षिणी उभे ॥ १०-८९-५२ ॥
Following the Sudarśana disc, the chariot went beyond the darkness and reached the endless spiritual light of the all pervasive brahmajyoti. As Arjuna beheld this glaring effulgence, his eyes hurt, and so he shut them. ॥ 10-89-52 ॥

सुदर्शन चक्र का अनुसरण करते हुए, रथ अंधकार से परे चला गया और सर्वव्यापी ब्रह्मज्योति के अनंत आध्यात्मिक प्रकाश तक पहुंच गया। जैसे ही अर्जुन ने इस चमकते तेज को देखा, उसकी आँखें दुखने लगीं और उसने उन्हें बंद कर लिया। ॥ १०-८९-५२ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptततः प्रविष्टः सलिलं नभस्वता बलीयसैजद्बृहदूर्मिभूषणम् । तत्राद्भुतं वै भवनं द्युमत्तमं भ्राजन्मणिस्तम्भसहस्रशोभितम् ॥ १०-८९-५३ ॥
From that region they entered a body of water resplendent with huge waves being churned by a mighty wind. Within that ocean Arjuna saw an amazing palace more radiant than anything he had ever seen before. Its beauty was enhanced by thousands of ornamental pillars bedecked with brilliant gems. ॥ 10-89-53 ॥

उस क्षेत्र से वे तेज हवा से उठती हुई विशाल लहरों से चमकते हुए एक जलाशय में प्रवेश कर गए। उस समुद्र के भीतर अर्जुन ने एक अद्भुत महल देखा, जो उसने पहले कभी नहीं देखा था। इसकी सुंदरता शानदार रत्नों से सुसज्जित हजारों सजावटी स्तंभों द्वारा बढ़ा दी गई थी। ॥ १०-८९-५३ ॥

In that palace was the huge, awe-inspiring serpent Ananta Śeṣa. He shone brilliantly with the radiance emanating from the gems on His thousands of hoods and reflecting from twice as many fearsome eyes. He resembled white Mount Kailāsa, and His necks and tongues were dark blue. ॥ 10-89-54 ॥

उस महल में विशाल, विस्मयकारी नाग अनंत शेष था। वह अपने हजारों फनों पर लगे रत्नों से निकलने वाली और दोगुनी डरावनी आंखों से झलकने वाली चमक से बहुत चमक रहा था। वह सफेद कैलाश पर्वत जैसा दिखता था, और उसकी गर्दन और जीभ गहरे नीले रंग की थीं। ॥ १०-८९-५४ ॥

Arjuna then saw the omnipresent and omnipotent Supreme Personality of Godhead, Mahā-Viṣṇu, sitting at ease on the serpent bed. His bluish complexion was the color of a dense rain cloud, He wore a beautiful yellow garment, His face looked charming, His broad eyes were most attractive, and He had eight long, handsome arms. ॥ 10-89-55 ॥

तब अर्जुन ने सर्वव्यापी और सर्वशक्तिमान परम भगवान महा-विष्णु को सर्प शय्या पर आराम से बैठे हुए देखा। उनका नीला रंग घने बारिश वाले बादल का रंग था, उन्होंने एक सुंदर पीला वस्त्र पहना था, उनका चेहरा आकर्षक लग रहा था, उनकी चौड़ी आंखें सबसे आकर्षक थीं और उनकी आठ लंबी, सुंदर भुजाएं थीं। ॥ १०-८९-५५ ॥
