दुरवगमात्मतत्त्वनिगमाय तवात्ततनोः चरितमहामृताब्धिपरिवर्तपरिश्रमणाः । न परिलषन्ति केचिदपवर्गमपीश्वर ते चरणसरोजहंसकुलसङ्गविसृष्टगृहाः ।। १०-८७-२१ ।।

sanskrit

My Lord, some fortunate souls have gotten relief from the fatigue of material life by diving into the vast nectar ocean of Your pastimes, which You enact when You manifest Your personal forms to propagate the unfathomable science of the self. These rare souls, indifferent even to liberation, renounce the happiness of home and family because of their association with devotees who are like flocks of swans enjoying at the lotus of Your feet. ।। 10-87-21 ।।

english translation

हे प्रभु, कुछ भाग्यशाली आत्माओं को आपकी लीलाओं के विशाल अमृत सागर में गोता लगाकर भौतिक जीवन की थकान से राहत मिली है, जिसे आप तब करते हैं जब आप स्वयं के अथाह विज्ञान का प्रचार करने के लिए अपने व्यक्तिगत रूपों को प्रकट करते हैं। मुक्ति से भी उदासीन ये दुर्लभ आत्माएं आपके चरणों के कमल पर आनंद ले रहे हंसों के झुंड की तरह भक्तों के साथ जुड़ने के कारण घर और परिवार के सुख को त्याग देती हैं। ।। १०-८७-२१ ।।

त्वदनुपथं कुलायमिदमात्मसुहृत्प्रियवत् चरति तथोन्मुखे त्वयि हिते प्रिय आत्मनि च । न बत रमन्त्यहो असदुपासनयाऽऽत्महनो यदनुशया भ्रमन्त्युरुभये कुशरीरभृतः ।। १०-८७-२२ ।।

When this human body is used for Your devotional service, it acts as one’s self, friend and beloved. But unfortunately, although You always show mercy to the conditioned souls and affectionately help them in every way, and although You are their true Self, people in general fail to delight in You. Instead they commit spiritual suicide by worshiping illusion. Alas, because they persistently hope for success in their devotion to the unreal, they continue to wander about this greatly fearful world, assuming various degraded bodies. ।। 10-87-22 ।।

जब इस मानव शरीर का उपयोग आपकी भक्ति सेवा के लिए किया जाता है, तो यह स्वयं, मित्र और प्रिय के रूप में कार्य करता है। लेकिन दुर्भाग्य से, यद्यपि आप हमेशा बद्ध आत्माओं पर दया दिखाते हैं और स्नेहपूर्वक उनकी हर तरह से मदद करते हैं, और यद्यपि आप उनका सच्चा स्वरूप हैं, फिर भी आम तौर पर लोग आपसे प्रसन्न नहीं हो पाते हैं। इसके बजाय वे भ्रम की पूजा करके आध्यात्मिक आत्महत्या करते हैं। अफसोस, क्योंकि वे लगातार असत्य के प्रति अपनी भक्ति में सफलता की आशा रखते हैं, वे विभिन्न पतित शरीर धारण करके इस अत्यंत भयावह दुनिया में भटकते रहते हैं। ।। १०-८७-२२ ।।

निभृतमरुन्मनोऽक्षदृढयोगयुजो हृदि यन्मुनय उपासते तदरयोऽपि ययुः स्मरणात् । स्त्रिय उरगेन्द्रभोगभुजदण्डविषक्तधियो वयमपि ते समाः समदृशोऽङ्घ्रिसरोजसुधाः ।। १०-८७-२३ ।।

Simply by constantly thinking of Him, the enemies of the Lord attained the same Supreme Truth whom sages fixed in yoga worship by controlling their breath, mind and senses. Similarly, we śrutis, who generally see You as all-pervading, will achieve the same nectar from Your lotus feet that Your consorts are able to relish because of their loving attraction to Your mighty, serpentine arms, for You look upon us and Your consorts in the same way. ।। 10-87-23 ।।

केवल उसके बारे में निरंतर चिंतन करने से, भगवान के शत्रुओं ने उसी सर्वोच्च सत्य को प्राप्त कर लिया, जिसे ऋषियों ने अपनी सांस, मन और इंद्रियों को नियंत्रित करके योग पूजा में निर्धारित किया था। इसी प्रकार, हम श्रुतियाँ, जो आम तौर पर आपको सर्वव्यापी के रूप में देखती हैं, आपके कमल चरणों से वही अमृत प्राप्त करेंगी जिसका आनंद आपकी सहचरी आपकी शक्तिशाली, सर्पीन भुजाओं के प्रति प्रेमपूर्ण आकर्षण के कारण ले पाती हैं, क्योंकि आप हमें और अपनी सहचरियों को देखते हैं। उसी तरह से। ।। १०-८७-२३ ।।

क इह नु वेद बतावरजन्मलयोऽग्रसरं यत उदगादृषिर्यमनु देवगणा उभये । तर्हि न सन्न चासदुभयं न च कालजवः किमपि न तत्र शास्त्रमवकृष्य शयीत यदा ।। १०-८७-२४ ।।

Everyone in this world has recently been born and will soon die. So how can anyone here know Him who existed prior to everything else and who gave rise to the first learned sage, Brahmā, and all subsequent demigods, both lesser and greater? When He lies down and withdraws everything within Himself, nothing else remains — no gross or subtle matter or bodies composed of these, no force of time or revealed scripture. ।। 10-87-24 ।।

english translation

इस दुनिया में हर कोई हाल ही में पैदा हुआ है और जल्द ही मर जाएगा। तो यहाँ कोई भी उसे कैसे जान सकता है जो हर चीज़ से पहले अस्तित्व में था और जिसने पहले विद्वान ऋषि, ब्रह्मा और बाद के सभी देवताओं, छोटे और बड़े दोनों को जन्म दिया? जब वह लेट जाता है और सब कुछ अपने भीतर समेट लेता है, तो कुछ भी नहीं बचता - कोई स्थूल या सूक्ष्म पदार्थ या इनसे बना शरीर, कोई समय की शक्ति या प्रकट शास्त्र नहीं। ।। १०-८७-२४ ।।

जनिमसतः सतो मृतिमुतात्मनि ये च भिदां विपणमृतं स्मरन्त्युपदिशन्ति त आरुपितैः । त्रिगुणमयः पुमानिति भिदा यदबोधकृता त्वयि न ततः परत्र स भवेदवबोधरसे ।। १०-८७-२५ ।।

Supposed authorities who declare that matter is the origin of existence, that the permanent qualities of the soul can be destroyed, that the self is compounded of separate aspects of spirit and matter, or that material transactions constitute reality — all such authorities base their teachings on mistaken ideas that hide the truth. The dualistic conception that the living entity is produced from the three modes of nature is simply a product of ignorance. Such a conception has no real basis in You, for You are transcendental to all illusion and always enjoy perfect, total awareness. ।। 10-87-25 ।।

कथित अधिकारी जो घोषणा करते हैं कि पदार्थ ही अस्तित्व का मूल है, कि आत्मा के स्थायी गुणों को नष्ट किया जा सकता है, कि आत्मा आत्मा और पदार्थ के अलग-अलग पहलुओं से मिलकर बना है, या कि भौतिक लेनदेन वास्तविकता का गठन करते हैं - ऐसे सभी अधिकारी अपनी शिक्षाओं को आधार बनाते हैं ग़लत विचार जो सच्चाई को छिपाते हैं। यह द्वैतवादी धारणा कि जीव प्रकृति के तीन गुणों से उत्पन्न हुआ है, केवल अज्ञानता का उत्पाद है। इस तरह की अवधारणा का आपके लिए कोई वास्तविक आधार नहीं है, क्योंकि आप सभी भ्रमों से परे हैं और हमेशा पूर्ण, पूर्ण जागरूकता का आनंद लेते हैं। ।। १०-८७-२५ ।।
