इति तच्चिन्तयन्नन्तः प्राप्तो निजगृहान्तिकम् । सूर्यानलेन्दुसङ्काशैर्विमानैः सर्वतो वृतम् ।। १०-८१-२१ ।।

sanskrit

[Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued:] Thinking thus to himself, Sudāmā finally came to the place where his home stood. But that place was now crowded on all sides with towering, celestial palaces rivaling the combined brilliance of the sun, fire and the moon. ।। 10-81-21 ।।

english translation

[शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने आगे कहा:] ऐसा सोचते हुए, सुदामा अंततः उस स्थान पर आये जहाँ उनका घर था। लेकिन वह स्थान अब हर तरफ सूर्य, अग्नि और चंद्रमा की संयुक्त चमक के प्रतिद्वंद्वी, विशाल, दिव्य महलों से भरा हुआ था। ।। १०-८१-२१ ।।

विचित्रोपवनोद्यानैः कूजद्द्विजकुलाकुलैः । प्रोत्फुल्लकुमुदाम्भोजकह्लारोत्पलवारिभिः ।। १०-८१-२२ ।।

There were splendorous courtyards and gardens, each filled with flocks of cooing birds and beautified by ponds in which kumuda, ambhoja, kahlāra and utpala lotuses grew. ।। 10-81-22 ।।

english translation

वहाँ शानदार आंगन और बगीचे थे, जिनमें से प्रत्येक चहचहाते पक्षियों के झुंड से भरा हुआ था और तालाबों से सुशोभित था जिनमें कुमुदा, अम्भोज, कहलारा और उत्पल कमल उगते थे। ।। १०-८१-२२ ।।

सुंदर पोशाक पहने पुरुष और हिरणी जैसी आंखों वाली महिलाएं उपस्थित थीं। सुदामा को आश्चर्य हुआ, “यह सब क्या है? यह किसकी संपत्ति है? यह सब कैसे हुआ?” ।। १०-८१-२३ ।।

As he continued to ponder in this way, the beautiful men — and maidservants, as effulgent as demigods, came forward to greet their greatly fortunate master with loud song and instrumental music. ।। 10-81-24 ।।

जब वह इस प्रकार विचार करता रहा, तो सुंदर पुरुष और दासियाँ, जो देवताओं के समान तेजस्वी थीं, ऊंचे गीत और वाद्य संगीत के साथ अपने परम भाग्यशाली स्वामी का स्वागत करने के लिए आगे आईं। ।। १०-८१-२४ ।।

पतिमागतमाकर्ण्य पत्न्युद्धर्षातिसम्भ्रमा । निश्चक्राम गृहात्तूर्णं रूपिणी श्रीरिवालयात् ।। १०-८१-२५ ।।

When she heard that her husband had arrived, the brāhmaṇa’s wife quickly came out of the house in a jubilant flurry. She resembled the goddess of fortune herself emerging from her divine abode. ।। 10-81-25 ।।

english translation

जब उसने सुना कि उसका पति आ गया है, तो ब्राह्मण की पत्नी ख़ुशी से झूमती हुई तुरंत घर से बाहर आ गई। वह स्वयं भाग्य की देवी के समान थी जो अपने दिव्य निवास से प्रकट हो रही थी। ।। १०-८१-२५ ।।
