पतिव्रता पतिं दृष्ट्वा प्रेमोत्कण्ठाश्रुलोचना । मीलिताक्ष्यनमद्बुद्ध्या मनसा परिषस्वजे ॥ १०-८१-२६ ॥
When the chaste lady saw her husband, her eyes filled with tears of love and eagerness. As she held her eyes closed, she solemnly bowed down to him, and in her heart she embraced him. ॥ 10-81-26 ॥
english translation
जब पतिव्रता स्त्री ने अपने पति को देखा तो उसकी आँखों में प्रेम और उत्सुकता के आँसू भर आये। जैसे ही उसने अपनी आँखें बंद कीं, वह गंभीरता से उसके सामने झुकी, और अपने दिल में उसने उसे गले लगा लिया। ॥ १०-८१-२६ ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptपत्नीं वीक्ष्य विस्फुरन्तीं देवीं वैमानिकीमिव । दासीनां निष्ककण्ठीनां मध्ये भान्तीं स विस्मितः ॥ १०-८१-२७ ॥
Sudāmā was amazed to see his wife. Shining forth in the midst of maidservants adorned with jeweled lockets, she looked as effulgent as a demigoddess in her celestial airplane. ॥ 10-81-27 ॥
english translation
सुदामा अपनी पत्नी को देखकर आश्चर्यचकित रह गये। रत्नजड़ित लॉकेटों से सुसज्जित दासियों के बीच में चमकती हुई वह अपने दिव्य विमान में बैठी हुई देवी के समान दीप्तिमान लग रही थी। ॥ १०-८१-२७ ॥

patnIM vIkSya visphurantIM devIM vaimAnikImiva । dAsInAM niSkakaNThInAM madhye bhAntIM sa vismitaH ॥ 10-81-27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रीतः स्वयं तया युक्तः प्रविष्टो निजमन्दिरम् । मणिस्तम्भशतोपेतं महेन्द्रभवनं यथा ॥ १०-८१-२८ ॥
With pleasure he took his wife with him and entered his house, where there were hundreds of gem-studded pillars, just as in the palace of Lord Mahendra. ॥ 10-81-28 ॥

वह ख़ुशी से अपनी पत्नी को अपने साथ ले गया और अपने घर में प्रवेश किया, जहाँ भगवान महेंद्र के महल की तरह ही सैकड़ों रत्न-जटित खंभे थे। ॥ १०-८१-२८ ॥

In Sudāmā’s home were beds as soft and white as the foam of milk, with bedsteads made of ivory and ornamented with gold. There were also couches with golden legs, as well as royal cāmara fans, ॥ 10-81-29 ॥

सुदामा के घर में दूध के झाग के समान मुलायम और सफेद बिस्तर थे, जिनमें हाथी दांत के बने और सोने से अलंकृत बिस्तर थे। वहाँ सुनहरे पैरों वाले सोफ़े भी थे, साथ ही शाही कैमरा पंखे भी थे, ॥ १०-८१-२९ ॥

सुनहरे सिंहासन, मुलायम गद्दे और मोतियों की लड़ियों से लटकी चमचमाती छतरियाँ। ॥ १०-८१-३० ॥
