यावन्न मे हतो बाणैः शयीथा मुञ्च दारीकाम् । स्मयन् कृष्णो धनुश्छित्त्वा षड्भिर्विव्याध रुक्मिणम् ॥ १०-५४-२६ ॥
“Release the girl before You are struck dead by my arrows and made to lie down!” In response to this, Lord Kṛṣṇa smiled, and with six arrows He struck Rukmī and broke his bow. ॥ 10-54-26 ॥
english translation
"इससे पहले कि तुम मेरे बाणों से मर जाओ और सो जाओ, लड़की को छोड़ दो!" इसके उत्तर में भगवान कृष्ण मुस्कुराए और उन्होंने छह बाणों से रुक्मी पर प्रहार किया और उसका धनुष तोड़ दिया। ॥ १०-५४-२६ ॥

अष्टभिश्चतुरो वाहान् द्वाभ्यां सूतं ध्वजं त्रिभिः । स चान्यद्धनुराधाय कृष्णं विव्याध पञ्चभिः ॥ १०-५४-२७ ॥
The Lord struck Rukmī’s four horses with eight arrows, his chariot driver with two, and the chariot’s flag with three. Rukmī grabbed another bow and struck Lord Kṛṣṇa with five arrows. ॥ 10-54-27 ॥

भगवान ने रुक्मी के चार घोड़ों को आठ बाणों से, उसके रथचालक को दो बाणों से और रथ की ध्वजा को तीन बाणों से घायल कर दिया। रुक्मी ने दूसरा धनुष उठाया और भगवान कृष्ण पर पाँच बाणों से प्रहार किया। ॥ १०-५४-२७ ॥

तैस्ताडितः शरौघैस्तु चिच्छेद धनुरच्युतः । पुनरन्यदुपादत्त तदप्यच्छिनदव्ययः ॥ १०-५४-२८ ॥
Although hit by these many arrows, Lord Acyuta again broke Rukmī’s bow. Rukmī picked up yet another bow, but the infallible Lord broke that one to pieces as well. ॥ 10-54-28 ॥

इतने सारे बाणों से घायल होने पर भी भगवान अच्युता ने फिर रुक्मी का धनुष तोड़ दिया। रुक्मी ने एक और धनुष उठाया, लेकिन अचूक भगवान ने उसे भी टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिया। ॥ १०-५४-२८ ॥

परिघं पट्टिशं शूलं चर्मासी शक्तितोमरौ । यद्यदायुधमादत्त तत्सर्वं सोऽच्छिनद्धरिः ॥ १०-५४-२९ ॥
Iron bludgeon, three-pointed spear, sword and shield, pike, javelin — whatever weapon Rukmī picked up, Lord Hari smashed it to bits. ॥ 10-54-29 ॥

लोहे का डंडा, तीन नोक वाला भाला, तलवार और ढाल, पाइक, भाला - रुक्मी ने जो भी हथियार उठाया, भगवान हरि ने उसे टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिया। ॥ १०-५४-२९ ॥

ततो रथादवप्लुत्य खड्गपाणिर्जिघांसया । कृष्णमभ्यद्रवत्क्रुद्धः पतङ्ग इव पावकम् ॥ १०-५४-३० ॥
Then Rukmī leaped down from his chariot and, sword in hand, rushed furiously toward Kṛṣṇa to kill Him, like a bird flying into the wind. ॥ 10-54-30 ॥

तब रुक्मी अपने रथ से नीचे कूद गया और हाथ में तलवार लेकर, हवा में उड़ते पक्षी की तरह, कृष्ण को मारने के लिए उनकी ओर तेजी से दौड़ा। ॥ १०-५४-३० ॥
