प्राग्नये॑ त॒वसे॑ भरध्वं॒ गिरं॑ दि॒वो अ॑र॒तये॑ पृथि॒व्याः । यो विश्वे॑षाम॒मृता॑नामु॒पस्थे॑ वैश्वान॒रो वा॑वृ॒धे जा॑गृ॒वद्भि॑: ॥ प्राग्नये तवसे भरध्वं गिरं दिवो अरतये पृथिव्याः । यो विश्वेषाममृतानामुपस्थे वैश्वानरो वावृधे जागृवद्भिः ॥
Offer praise to the strong Agni, traversing without hindrance heaven and earth; he who (as)Vaiśvānara prospers at the sacrifices of all the immortals, being associated with the awaking divinities.

पृ॒ष्टो दि॒वि धाय्य॒ग्निः पृ॑थि॒व्यां ने॒ता सिन्धू॑नां वृष॒भः स्तिया॑नाम् । स मानु॑षीर॒भि विशो॒ वि भा॑ति वैश्वान॒रो वा॑वृधा॒नो वरे॑ण ॥ पृष्टो दिवि धाय्यग्निः पृथिव्यां नेता सिन्धूनां वृषभः स्तियानाम् । स मानुषीरभि विशो वि भाति वैश्वानरो वावृधानो वरेण ॥
Agni, the leader of the rivers, the showerer of the waters, the radiant, has been stationed in thefirmament and upon earth; Viśvānara augmenting with the most excellent (oblation) shines upon human beings.

त्वद्भि॒या विश॑ आय॒न्नसि॑क्नीरसम॒ना जह॑ती॒र्भोज॑नानि । वैश्वा॑नर पू॒रवे॒ शोशु॑चान॒: पुरो॒ यद॑ग्ने द॒रय॒न्नदी॑देः ॥ त्वद्भिया विश आयन्नसिक्नीरसमना जहतीर्भोजनानि । वैश्वानर पूरवे शोशुचानः पुरो यदग्ने दरयन्नदीदेः ॥
Through fear of you, Vaiśvānara, the dark-complexioned races, although of many minds, arrived,abandoning their possessions, when, Agni, shining upon Puru, you have blazed, consuming the cities of his foe.

तव॑ त्रि॒धातु॑ पृथि॒वी उ॒त द्यौर्वैश्वा॑नर व्र॒तम॑ग्ने सचन्त । त्वं भा॒सा रोद॑सी॒ आ त॑त॒न्थाज॑स्रेण शो॒चिषा॒ शोशु॑चानः ॥ तव त्रिधातु पृथिवी उत द्यौर्वैश्वानर व्रतमग्ने सचन्त । त्वं भासा रोदसी आ ततन्थाजस्रेण शोचिषा शोशुचानः ॥
Vaiśvānara Agni, the firmament, the earth, the heaven, combine in your worship; shining withundecaying splendour, you overspread heaven and earth with light.

त्वाम॑ग्ने ह॒रितो॑ वावशा॒ना गिर॑: सचन्ते॒ धुन॑यो घृ॒ताची॑: । पतिं॑ कृष्टी॒नां र॒थ्यं॑ रयी॒णां वै॑श्वान॒रमु॒षसां॑ के॒तुमह्ना॑म् ॥ त्वामग्ने हरितो वावशाना गिरः सचन्ते धुनयो घृताचीः । पतिं कृष्टीनां रथ्यं रयीणां वैश्वानरमुषसां केतुमह्नाम् ॥
The horses (of Indra), full of ardour, worship you, Agni; the praises (of men), dispersers (of iniquity),accompanied by oblations, (honour you), the lord of men, the conveyer of riches, the Vaiśvānara of dawns, themanifester of days.
