स॒मिधा॑ जा॒तवे॑दसे दे॒वाय॑ दे॒वहू॑तिभिः । ह॒विर्भि॑: शु॒क्रशो॑चिषे नम॒स्विनो॑ व॒यं दा॑शेमा॒ग्नये॑ ॥ समिधा जातवेदसे देवाय देवहूतिभिः । हविर्भिः शुक्रशोचिषे नमस्विनो वयं दाशेमाग्नये ॥
Let us, laden with oblations, offer worship with fuel and invocations of the gods to the divineJātavedas, to the purely lustrous Agni.

व॒यं ते॑ अग्ने स॒मिधा॑ विधेम व॒यं दा॑शेम सुष्टु॒ती य॑जत्र । व॒यं घृ॒तेना॑ध्वरस्य होतर्व॒यं दे॑व ह॒विषा॑ भद्रशोचे ॥ वयं ते अग्ने समिधा विधेम वयं दाशेम सुष्टुती यजत्र । वयं घृतेनाध्वरस्य होतर्वयं देव हविषा भद्रशोचे ॥
May we perform your rites, Agni, with fuel; may we offer you, adorable Agni, pious praises; may we(gratify you), ministrant of the sacrifice, with clarified butter; divine Agni, of auspicious lustre, may we (worshipyou) with oblations.

आ नो॑ दे॒वेभि॒रुप॑ दे॒वहू॑ति॒मग्ने॑ या॒हि वष॑ट्कृतिं जुषा॒णः । तुभ्यं॑ दे॒वाय॒ दाश॑तः स्याम यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥ आ नो देवेभिरुप देवहूतिमग्ने याहि वषट्कृतिं जुषाणः । तुभ्यं देवाय दाशतः स्याम यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
Come to our sacrifice, Agni, with the gods, propitiated by the sanctified oblations; may we be theofferers (of worship) to you who are divine, and do you ever cherish us with blessings.
