प्रति॒ स्तोमे॑भिरु॒षसं॒ वसि॑ष्ठा गी॒र्भिर्विप्रा॑सः प्रथ॒मा अ॑बुध्रन् । वि॒व॒र्तय॑न्तीं॒ रज॑सी॒ सम॑न्ते आविष्कृण्व॒तीं भुव॑नानि॒ विश्वा॑ ॥ प्रति स्तोमेभिरुषसं वसिष्ठा गीर्भिर्विप्रासः प्रथमा अबुध्रन् । विवर्तयन्तीं रजसी समन्ते आविष्कृण्वतीं भुवनानि विश्वा ॥
The pious Vasiṣṭhas, first (of all worshippers) awaken with prayers and praises (each succeeding)dawn spreading over the like-bounded earth and heaven making all the regions manifest.
english translation
ए॒षा स्या नव्य॒मायु॒र्दधा॑ना गू॒ढ्वी तमो॒ ज्योति॑षो॒षा अ॑बोधि । अग्र॑ एति युव॒तिरह्र॑याणा॒ प्राचि॑कित॒त्सूर्यं॑ य॒ज्ञम॒ग्निम् ॥ एषा स्या नव्यमायुर्दधाना गूढ्वी तमो ज्योतिषोषा अबोधि । अग्र एति युवतिरह्रयाणा प्राचिकितत्सूर्यं यज्ञमग्निम् ॥
Bestowing new existence, dispersing the thick darkness by her radiance, the Dawn is awakened andlike an immodest dame, she comes before (the sun), and makes manifest Sūrya, sacrifice and Agni.

अश्वा॑वती॒र्गोम॑तीर्न उ॒षासो॑ वी॒रव॑ती॒: सद॑मुच्छन्तु भ॒द्राः । घृ॒तं दुहा॑ना वि॒श्वत॒: प्रपी॑ता यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥ अश्वावतीर्गोमतीर्न उषासो वीरवतीः सदमुच्छन्तु भद्राः । घृतं दुहाना विश्वतः प्रपीता यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
May the auspicious dawns ever break upon us redolen of horses, of cattle, of male posterity, sheddingmoisture, yielding everywhere abundance; and do you, (gods), ever cherish us with blessings.
