आ नो॑ देव॒ शव॑सा याहि शुष्मि॒न्भवा॑ वृ॒ध इ॑न्द्र रा॒यो अ॒स्य । म॒हे नृ॒म्णाय॑ नृपते सुवज्र॒ महि॑ क्ष॒त्राय॒ पौंस्या॑य शूर ॥ आ नो देव शवसा याहि शुष्मिन्भवा वृध इन्द्र रायो अस्य । महे नृम्णाय नृपते सुवज्र महि क्षत्राय पौंस्याय शूर ॥
Divine and powerful (Indra), come to us with your strength; be the augmenter of our riches; be to us,king of men, wielder of the thunderbolt, for (a source of) vigour, of great prowess, hero, of manhood.

हव॑न्त उ त्वा॒ हव्यं॒ विवा॑चि त॒नूषु॒ शूरा॒: सूर्य॑स्य सा॒तौ । त्वं विश्वे॑षु॒ सेन्यो॒ जने॑षु॒ त्वं वृ॒त्राणि॑ रन्धया सु॒हन्तु॑ ॥ हवन्त उ त्वा हव्यं विवाचि तनूषु शूराः सूर्यस्य सातौ । त्वं विश्वेषु सेन्यो जनेषु त्वं वृत्राणि रन्धया सुहन्तु ॥
Warriors invoke you, worthy to be invoked, in the variously clamorous (strife), for (the safety of their)person ns, and for the (long) enjoyment of the sun; you are a fit leader over all men; humble our enemies by thefatal (bolt).

अहा॒ यदि॑न्द्र सु॒दिना॑ व्यु॒च्छान्दधो॒ यत्के॒तुमु॑प॒मं स॒मत्सु॑ । न्य१॒॑ग्निः सी॑द॒दसु॑रो॒ न होता॑ हुवा॒नो अत्र॑ सु॒भगा॑य दे॒वान् ॥ अहा यदिन्द्र सुदिना व्युच्छान्दधो यत्केतुमुपमं समत्सु । न्यग्निः सीददसुरो न होता हुवानो अत्र सुभगाय देवान् ॥
When, Indra, fortunate days arise, when you advance your emblem in battles, the strong Agni, theinvoker of the gods, summoning the gods hither for our benefit, sits down on the sacred grass.

व॒यं ते त॑ इन्द्र॒ ये च॑ देव॒ स्तव॑न्त शूर॒ दद॑तो म॒घानि॑ । यच्छा॑ सू॒रिभ्य॑ उप॒मं वरू॑थं स्वा॒भुवो॑ जर॒णाम॑श्नवन्त ॥ वयं ते त इन्द्र ये च देव स्तवन्त शूर ददतो मघानि । यच्छा सूरिभ्य उपमं वरूथं स्वाभुवो जरणामश्नवन्त ॥
We, divine Indra, who are yours, are they, hero, who are praising you and offering rich libations; grantto (your) pious (worshippers) an excellent abode; and may they, prosperous, attain old age.

वो॒चेमेदिन्द्रं॑ म॒घवा॑नमेनं म॒हो रा॒यो राध॑सो॒ यद्दद॑न्नः । यो अर्च॑तो॒ ब्रह्म॑कृति॒मवि॑ष्ठो यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥ वोचेमेदिन्द्रं मघवानमेनं महो रायो राधसो यद्ददन्नः । यो अर्चतो ब्रह्मकृतिमविष्ठो यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
Let us glorify the opulent Indra, that he may give us vast and valuable riches; he who is the chiefprotector of the religious rites of the worshippers; do you ever cherish us with blessings.
