अग्ने॒ भव॑ सुष॒मिधा॒ समि॑द्ध उ॒त ब॒र्हिरु॑र्वि॒या वि स्तृ॑णीताम् ॥ अग्ने भव सुषमिधा समिद्ध उत बर्हिरुर्विया वि स्तृणीताम् ॥
Be kindled, Agni, with suitable fuel; let the (priest) strew the plural ntiful sacred grass.
english translation
उ॒त द्वार॑ उश॒तीर्वि श्र॑यन्तामु॒त दे॒वाँ उ॑श॒त आ व॑हे॒ह ॥ उत द्वार उशतीर्वि श्रयन्तामुत देवाँ उशत आ वहेह ॥
Let the willing doors and the chamber of sacrifice be thrown open; bring hither the willing gods.

अग्ने॑ वी॒हि ह॒विषा॒ यक्षि॑ दे॒वान्त्स्व॑ध्व॒रा कृ॑णुहि जातवेदः ॥ अग्ने वीहि हविषा यक्षि देवान्त्स्वध्वरा कृणुहि जातवेदः ॥
Agni Jātavedas, repair to the gods, worship them with the oblation, render them plural ased by the sacrifice.

स्व॒ध्व॒रा क॑रति जा॒तवे॑दा॒ यक्ष॑द्दे॒वाँ अ॒मृता॑न्पि॒प्रय॑च्च ॥ स्वध्वरा करति जातवेदा यक्षद्देवाँ अमृतान्पिप्रयच्च ॥
May Jātavedas render the immortal gods, plural ased by the sacrifice; let him sacrifice (to them), andgratify them (with praise).

वंस्व॒ विश्वा॒ वार्या॑णि प्रचेतः स॒त्या भ॑वन्त्वा॒शिषो॑ नो अ॒द्य ॥ वंस्व विश्वा वार्याणि प्रचेतः सत्या भवन्त्वाशिषो नो अद्य ॥
Bestow upon us, sage, Agni, all desirable (riches); may the blessings (vouchsafed) to us this day be sacrificed.
