शं नो॑ दे॒वा वि॒श्वदे॑वा भवन्तु॒ शं सर॑स्वती स॒ह धी॒भिर॑स्तु । शम॑भि॒षाच॒: शमु॑ राति॒षाच॒: शं नो॑ दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वा॒: शं नो॒ अप्या॑: ॥ शं नो देवा विश्वदेवा भवन्तु शं सरस्वती सह धीभिरस्तु । शमभिषाचः शमु रातिषाचः शं नो दिव्याः पार्थिवाः शं नो अप्याः ॥
May the divine universal gods be (favourable) to our felicity; may Sarasvatī, with holy rites, behappiness; may those who assist at sacrifices, those who are liberal of gifts. Be (conducive to) our happiness;may celestial, terrestrial and aquatic things be (subservient to) our happiness.

शं न॑: स॒त्यस्य॒ पत॑यो भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ अर्व॑न्त॒: शमु॑ सन्तु॒ गाव॑: । शं न॑ ऋ॒भव॑: सु॒कृत॑: सु॒हस्ता॒: शं नो॑ भवन्तु पि॒तरो॒ हवे॑षु ॥ शं नः सत्यस्य पतयो भवन्तु शं नो अर्वन्तः शमु सन्तु गावः । शं न ऋभवः सुकृतः सुहस्ताः शं नो भवन्तु पितरो हवेषु ॥
May the lords of truth be (propitious to) our happiness; may horses, may cattle, (contribute to) ourhappiness; may the virtuous, the dexterous Ṛbhus, be to us (for) felicity; may the progenitors be (promoters of)our happiness at the seasons of worship.

शं नो॑ अ॒ज एक॑पाद्दे॒वो अ॑स्तु॒ शं नोऽहि॑र्बु॒ध्न्य१॒॑: शं स॑मु॒द्रः । शं नो॑ अ॒पां नपा॑त्पे॒रुर॑स्तु॒ शं न॒: पृश्नि॑र्भवतु दे॒वगो॑पा ॥ शं नो अज एकपाद्देवो अस्तु शं नोऽहिर्बुध्न्यः शं समुद्रः । शं नो अपां नपात्पेरुरस्तु शं नः पृश्निर्भवतु देवगोपा ॥
May the divine Aja-Ekapād be (favourable to) our happiness; may Ahirbudhnya, may the firmament, be(promotive of) our happiness; may the grandson of the waters, the protector, be (the securer of) our felicity; mayPṛśni, of whom the gods are the guardians, be to us (a granter of) happiness.

आ॒दि॒त्या रु॒द्रा वस॑वो जुषन्ते॒दं ब्रह्म॑ क्रि॒यमा॑णं॒ नवी॑यः । शृ॒ण्वन्तु॑ नो दि॒व्याः पार्थि॑वासो॒ गोजा॑ता उ॒त ये य॒ज्ञिया॑सः ॥ आदित्या रुद्रा वसवो जुषन्तेदं ब्रह्म क्रियमाणं नवीयः । शृण्वन्तु नो दिव्याः पार्थिवासो गोजाता उत ये यज्ञियासः ॥
May the Ādiyas, the Rudras, the Vasus, be gratified by this new and now repeated praise; maycelestial and terrestrial (beings), the progeny of the cow, (Pṛśni), and those who were entitled to worship, hearour (invocations).

ये दे॒वानां॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑ य॒ज्ञिया॑नां॒ मनो॒र्यज॑त्रा अ॒मृता॑ ऋत॒ज्ञाः । ते नो॑ रासन्तामुरुगा॒यम॒द्य यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥ ये देवानां यज्ञिया यज्ञियानां मनोर्यजत्रा अमृता ऋतज्ञाः । ते नो रासन्तामुरुगायमद्य यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
May those who are the most adorable divinities, those who were the adored of Manu, those who areimmortal, the observers of truth, bestow upon us this day (a son), of wide-spread renown; and do you evercherish us with blessings.
