स हि प्रसादे चात्यर्थं कोपे च हरिरीश्वरः | अतीत्य तस्य सन्देशं विनाशो गमने भवेत् || ४-६५-३१

'The monkey king has the authority to shower grace or give vent to his anger. If we go without fulfilling the task we will face destruction. [4-65-31]

english translation

sa hi prasAde cAtyarthaM kope ca harirIzvaraH | atItya tasya sandezaM vinAzo gamane bhavet || 4-65-31

तद्यथा ह्यस्य कार्यस्य न भवत्यन्यथा गतिः | तद्भवानेव दृष्टार्थस्सञ्चिन्तयितु मर्हति || ४-६५-३२

'Therefore, think over well so that we do not fail ultimately. You have a vision.You should suggest means by which this mission does not misfire.' [4-65-32]

tadyathA hyasya kAryasya na bhavatyanyathA gatiH | tadbhavAneva dRSTArthassaJcintayitu marhati || 4-65-32

सोऽङ्गदेन तदा वीरः प्रत्युक्तः प्लवगर्षभः | जाम्बवानुत्तरं वाक्यं प्रोवाचेदं ततोऽङ्गदम् || ४-६५-३३

- 'O hero this work will not be balked. I will now inspire one who can achieve this task.' [4-65-34]

asya te vIra kAryasya na kiJcitparihIyate | eSa saJcodayAmyenaM yaH kAryaM sAdhayiSyati || 4-65-34

ततः प्रतीतं प्लवतांवरिष्ठम् एकान्तमाश्रित्य सुसुखेपविष्ठम् | सञ्चोदयामास हरिप्रवीरो हरिप्रवीरं हनुमन्तमेव || ४-६५-३५

Then Jambavan the most eminent among the monkeys went to Hanuman, the celebrated one among the monkey leaders and a renowned one, who was sitting alone quietly at some distance Jambavan motivated him. [4-65-35]
