पक्षलाभो ममायं वस्सिद्धिप्रत्ययकारकः | इत्युक्त्वा स तान्हरीन् सर्वान्सम्पातिः पतगोत्तमः | उत्पपात गिरेश्शृङ्गाज्जिज्ञासुः खगमो गतिम् || ४-६३-१३

This growing wing of mine is a proof to you of your success in future.' Sampati, the foremost of the birds thus spoke to the monkeys and flew up from the mountain's peak keen on finding the aerial path. [4-63-13]

english translation

pakSalAbho mamAyaM vassiddhipratyayakArakaH | ityuktvA sa tAnharIn sarvAnsampAtiH patagottamaH | utpapAta girezzRGgAjjijJAsuH khagamo gatim || 4-63-13
