प्रोत्फुल्ल‍ोत्पलकह्लारकुमुदाम्भोजरेणुभि: । वासितामलतोयेषु कूजद्‌द्विजकुलेषु च ।। १०-९०-६ ।।

On the grounds of these palaces were clear ponds fragrant with the pollen of blooming utpala, kahlāra, kumuda and ambhoja lotuses and filled with flocks of cooing birds. ।। 10-90-6 ।।

english translation

इन महलों के मैदान में खिले हुए उत्पल, कहलारा, कुमुदा और अम्भोज कमल के पराग से सुगंधित स्वच्छ तालाब थे और पक्षियों के झुंडों से भरे हुए थे। ।। १०-९०-६ ।।

विजहार विगाह्याम्भो ह्रदिनीषु महोदयः । कुचकुङ्कुमलिप्ताङ्गः परिरब्धश्च योषिताम् ।। १०-९०-७ ।।

sanskrit

The almighty Lord would enter those ponds, and also various rivers, and enjoy sporting in the water while His wives embraced Him, leaving the red kuṅkuma from their breasts smeared on His body. ।। 10-90-7 ।।

english translation

सर्वशक्तिमान भगवान उन तालाबों और विभिन्न नदियों में प्रवेश करते थे, और पानी में खेल का आनंद लेते थे, जबकि उनकी पत्नियाँ उन्हें गले लगाती थीं, और अपने स्तनों से लाल कुंकुमा उनके शरीर पर लगाती थीं। ।। १०-९०-७ ।।

उपगीयमानो गन्धर्वैर्मृदङ्गपणवानकान् । वादयद्भिर्मुदा वीणां सूतमागधवन्दिभिः ।। १०-९०-८ ।।

sanskrit

As Gandharvas joyfully sang His praises to the accompaniment of mṛdaṅga, paṇava and ānaka drums, and as professional reciters known as Sūtas, Māgadhas and Vandīs played vīṇās and recited poems praising Him, Lord Kṛṣṇa would play with His wives in the water. ।। 10-90-8 ।।

english translation

जैसे गंधर्व मृदंग, पणव और अनाक ढोलों के साथ आनंदपूर्वक उनकी स्तुति गाते थे, और सूत, मगध और वंदी के नाम से जाने जाने वाले पेशेवर वाचक वीणा बजाते थे और उनकी प्रशंसा करते हुए कविताएँ पढ़ते थे, भगवान कृष्ण अपनी पत्नियों के साथ पानी में खेलते थे। ।। १०-९०-८ ।।

सिच्यमानोऽच्युतस्ताभिर्हसन्तीभिः स्म रेचकैः । प्रतिषिञ्चन् विचिक्रीडे यक्षीभिर्यक्षराडिव ।। १०-९०-९ ।।

Laughing, the queens would squirt water on Him with syringes, and He would squirt them back. Thus Kṛṣṇa would sport with His queens in the same way that the lord of the Yakṣas sports with the Yakṣī nymphs. ।। 10-90-9 ।।

english translation

हँसते हुए, रानियाँ सीरिंजों से उस पर पानी की धार फेंकती थीं, और वह उन्हें वापस उछाल देता था। इस प्रकार कृष्ण अपनी रानियों के साथ उसी तरह खेलेंगे जैसे यक्षों के स्वामी यक्षि अप्सराओं के साथ खेलते हैं। ।। १०-९०-९ ।।

ताः क्लिन्नवस्त्रविवृतोरुकुचप्रदेशाः सिञ्चन्त्य उद्धृतबृहत्कबरप्रसूनाः । कान्तं स्म रेचकजिहीरिषयोपगुह्य जातस्मरोत्सवलसद्वदना विरेजुः ।। १०-९०-१० ।।

Under the drenched clothing of the queens, their thighs and breasts would become visible. The flowers tied in their large braids would scatter as they sprayed water on their consort, and on the plea of trying to take away His syringe, they would embrace Him. By His touch their lusty feelings would increase, causing their faces to beam with smiles. Thus Lord Kṛṣṇa’s queens shone with resplendent beauty. ।। 10-90-10 ।।

english translation

रानियों के भीगे कपड़ों के नीचे उनकी जाँघें और स्तन दिखाई देने लगते थे। जब वे अपनी पत्नी पर पानी छिड़कते थे तो उनकी बड़ी चोटियों में बंधे फूल बिखर जाते थे और उसकी सिरिंज छीनने की कोशिश करने के बहाने वे उसे गले लगा लेते थे। उसके स्पर्श से उनकी वासनात्मक भावनाएँ बढ़ जातीं, जिससे उनके चेहरे मुस्कुराहट से खिल उठते। इस प्रकार भगवान कृष्ण की रानियाँ देदीप्यमान सौन्दर्य से चमक उठीं। ।। १०-९०-१० ।।
