बहुरूपैकरूपं तद्दृश्यते न च दृश्यते । मायामयं मयकृतं दुर्विभाव्यं परैरभूत् ॥ १०-७६-२१ ॥
At one moment the magic airship built by Maya Dānava appeared in many identical forms, and the next moment it was again only one. Sometimes it was visible, and sometimes not. Thus Śālva’s opponents could never be sure where it was. ॥ 10-76-21 ॥

एक क्षण में माया दानव द्वारा निर्मित जादुई हवाई पोत कई समान रूपों में दिखाई दिया, और अगले ही क्षण यह फिर से केवल एक ही था। कभी-कभी यह दिखाई देता था, और कभी-कभी नहीं। इस प्रकार शाल्व के विरोधी कभी निश्चित नहीं हो सके कि वह कहाँ है। ॥ १०-७६-२१ ॥

क्वचिद्भूमौ क्वचिद्व्योम्नि गिरिमूर्ध्नि जले क्वचित् । अलातचक्रवद्भ्राम्यत्सौभं तद्दुरवस्थितम् ॥ १०-७६-२२ ॥
From one moment to the next the Saubha airship appeared on the earth, in the sky, on a mountain peak or in the water. Like a whirling, flaming baton, it never remained in any one place. ॥ 10-76-22 ॥

एक क्षण से दूसरे क्षण तक सौभा हवाई पोत पृथ्वी पर, आकाश में, किसी पर्वत शिखर पर या पानी में दिखाई देता रहा। घूमती हुई, जलती हुई लाठी की तरह, वह कभी एक जगह नहीं टिकती थी। ॥ १०-७६-२२ ॥

यत्र यत्रोपलक्ष्येत ससौभः सह सैनिकः । शाल्वस्ततस्ततोऽमुञ्चञ्छरान् सात्वतयूथपाः ॥ १०-७६-२३ ॥
Wherever Śālva would appear with his Saubha ship and his army, there the Yadu commanders would shoot their arrows. ॥ 10-76-23 ॥

जहाँ भी शाल्व अपने सौभ जहाज और अपनी सेना के साथ उपस्थित होता, वहाँ यदु सेनापति अपने तीर चलाते। ॥ १०-७६-२३ ॥

शरैरग्न्यर्कसंस्पर्शैराशीविषदुरासदैः । पीड्यमानपुरानीकः शाल्वोऽमुह्यत्परेरितैः ॥ १०-७६-२४ ॥
Śālva became bewildered upon seeing his army and aerial city thus harassed by his enemy’s arrows, which struck like fire and the sun and were as intolerable as snake venom. ॥ 10-76-24 ॥

शाल्व अपनी सेना और आकाश नगर को अपने शत्रु के बाणों से, जो अग्नि और सूर्य के समान और साँप के विष के समान असहनीय थे, त्रस्त देखकर व्याकुल हो गया। ॥ १०-७६-२४ ॥

Because the heroes of the Vṛṣṇi clan were eager for victory in this world and the next, they did not abandon their assigned posts on the battlefield, even though the downpour of weapons hurled by Śālva’s commanders tormented them. ॥ 10-76-25 ॥

क्योंकि वृष्णि वंश के वीर इस लोक और परलोक में विजय के लिए उत्सुक थे, इसलिए उन्होंने युद्ध के मैदान में अपने निर्धारित पद नहीं छोड़े, भले ही शाल्व के सेनापतियों द्वारा फेंके गए हथियारों की बारिश ने उन्हें पीड़ा दी। ॥ १०-७६-२५ ॥
