तद्दर्शनाह्लादविवृद्धसम्भ्रमः प्रेम्णोर्ध्वरोमाश्रुकलाकुलेक्षणः । रथादवस्कन्द्य स तेष्वचेष्टत प्रभोरमून्यङ्घ्रिरजांस्यहो इति ॥ १०-३८-२६ ॥
Increasingly agitated by ecstasy at seeing the Lord’s footprints, his bodily hairs standing on end because of his pure love, and his eyes filled with tears, Akrūra jumped down from his chariot and began rolling about among those footprints, exclaiming, “Ah, this is the dust from my master’s feet!” ॥ 10-38-26 ॥

भगवान् के चरणचिन्हों को देखने से उत्पन्न आनन्द से अधिकाधिक विह्वल होने से शुद्ध प्रेम के कारण अक्रूर के शरीर के रोंगटे खड़े हो गये और आँखें आँसुओं से भर आईं। वे अपने रथ से नीचे कूद पड़े और उन चरणचिन्हों पर यह चीखकर लोटने लगे, “ओह, यह तो मेरे प्रभु के चरणों की धूल है।” ॥ १०-३८-२६ ॥

देहम्भृतामियानर्थो हित्वा दम्भं भियं शुचम् । सन्देशाद्यो हरेर्लिङ्गदर्शनश्रवणादिभिः ॥ १०-३८-२७ ॥
The very goal of life for all embodied beings is this ecstasy, which Akrūra experienced when, upon receiving Kaṁsa’s order, he put aside all pride, fear and lamentation and absorbed himself in seeing, hearing and describing the things that reminded him of Lord Kṛṣṇa. ॥ 10-38-27 ॥

समस्त जीवधारियों का जीवन-लक्ष्य यही आनन्द है, जिसे अक्रूर ने कंस का आदेश पाकर अपना सारा गर्व, भय तथा शोक त्यागकर अनुभव किया तथा अपने आपको भगवान् कृष्ण का स्मरण दिलाने वाली वस्तुओं को देखने, सुनने एवं वर्णन करने में लीन कर दिया। ॥ १०-३८-२७ ॥

ददर्श कृष्णं रामं च व्रजे गोदोहनं गतौ । पीतनीलाम्बरधरौ शरदम्बुरुहेक्षणौ ॥ १०-३८-२८ ॥
Akrūra then saw Kṛṣṇa and Balarāma in the village of Vraja, going to milk the cows. Kṛṣṇa wore yellow garments, Balarāma blue, and Their eyes resembled autumnal lotuses. ॥ 10-38-28 ॥

तत्पश्चात् अक्रूर ने व्रज-ग्राम में कृष्ण तथा बलराम को गौवें दुहने के लिए जाते देखा। कृष्ण पीले वस्त्र पहने थे और बलराम नीले वस्त्र पहने थे। उनकी आँखें शरदकालीन कमलों के समान थीं। ॥ १०-३८-२८ ॥

किशोरौ श्यामलश्वेतौ श्रीनिकेतौ बृहद्भुजौ । सुमुखौ सुन्दरवरौ बलद्विरदविक्रमौ ॥ १०-३८-२९ ॥
One of those two mighty-armed youths, the shelters of the goddess of fortune, had a dark-blue complexion, and the other’s was white. With Their fine-featured faces They were the most beautiful of all persons. As They walked with the gait of young elephants ॥ 10-38-29 ॥

इन दोनों बलशाली भुजाओं वाले, लक्ष्मी के आश्रयों में से एक का रंग गहरा नीला था और दूसरे का श्वेत था। ये दोनों ही समस्त व्यक्तियों में सर्वाधिक सुन्दर थे। जब वे युवक हाथियों की-सी चाल से ॥ १०-३८-२९ ॥

ध्वजवज्राङ्कुशाम्भोजैश्चिह्नितैरङ्घ्रिभिर्व्रजम् । शोभयन्तौ महात्मानावनुक्रोशस्मितेक्षणौ ॥ १०-३८-३० ॥
glancing about with compassionate smiles, Those two exalted personalities beautified the cow pasture with the impressions of Their feet, which bore the marks of the flag, lightning bolt, elephant goad and lotus. ॥ 10-38-30 ॥

अपनी दयामय मुस्कानों से निहारते चलते तो ये दोनों महापुरुष अपने पदचिन्हों से चरागाह को सुशोभित बनाते जाते। ये पदचिन्ह पताका, वज्र, अंकुश तथा कमल चिन्हों से युक्त थे। ॥ १०-३८-३० ॥
