लब्ध्वाङ्गसङ्गं प्रणतं कृताञ्जलिं मां वक्ष्यतेऽक्रूर ततेत्युरुश्रवाः । तदा वयं जन्मभृतो महीयसा नैवादृतो यो धिगमुष्य जन्म तत् ।। १०-३८-२१ ।।

sanskrit

Having been embraced by the all-famous Lord Kṛṣṇa, I will humbly stand before Him with bowed head and joined palms, and He will address me, “My dear Akrūra.” At that very moment my life’s purpose will be fulfilled. Indeed, the life of anyone whom the Supreme Personality fails to recognize is simply pitiable. ।। 10-38-21 ।।

english translation

सर्व-सुविख्यात कृष्ण द्वारा गले लगाये जाने के बाद मैं उनके समक्ष विनम्र भाव से सिर झुकाकर तथा हाथ जोडक़र खड़ा रहूँगा और वे मुझसे कहेंगे, “मेरे प्रिय अक्रूर,” उसी क्षण मेरे जीवन का उद्देश्य सफल हो जायेगा। दरअसल जिस व्यक्ति को भगवान् मान्यता नहीं देते उसका जीवन दयनीय है। ।। १०-३८-२१ ।।

न तस्य कश्चिद्दयितः सुहृत्तमो न चाप्रियो द्वेष्य उपेक्ष्य एव वा । तथापि भक्तान् भजते यथा तथा सुरद्रुमो यद्वदुपाश्रितोऽर्थदः ।। १०-३८-२२ ।।

The Supreme Lord has no favorite and no dearmost friend, nor does He consider anyone undesirable, despicable or fit to be neglected. All the same, He lovingly reciprocates with His devotees in whatever manner they worship Him, just as the trees of heaven fulfill the desires of whoever approaches them. ।। 10-38-22 ।।

english translation

भगवान् का न तो कोई अप्रिय है, न सर्वश्रेष्ठ मित्र है, न ही वे किसी को अवांछनीय, घृणित या उपेक्षणीय मानते हैं। साथ ही साथ अपने भक्तों से, जीस भाव से पूजा करते हैं उसी तरह प्रेम का आदान-प्रदान करते हैं जिस तरह कल्प-वृक्ष अपने पास आने वालों की इच्छाएँ पूरी करते हैं। ।। १०-३८-२२ ।।

किं चाग्रजो मावनतं यदूत्तमः स्मयन् परिष्वज्य गृहीतमञ्जलौ । गृहं प्रवेश्याप्तसमस्तसत्कृतं सम्प्रक्ष्यते कंसकृतं स्वबन्धुषु ।। १०-३८-२३ ।।

And then Lord Kṛṣṇa’s elder brother, the foremost of the Yadus, will grasp my joined hands while I am still standing with my head bowed, and after embracing me He will take me to His house. There He will honor me with all items of ritual welcome and inquire from me about how Kaṁsa has been treating His family members. ।। 10-38-23 ।।

english translation

और जब मैं अपना सिर झुकाये खड़ा होऊँगा तब कृष्ण के बड़े भाई, यदुश्रेष्ठ बलराम मेरे जुड़े हुए हाथों को थाम लेंगे और फिर मेरा आलिंगन करके वे मुझे अपने घर ले जायेंगे। वहाँ वे सभी प्रकार की अनुष्ठान-सामग्री से मेरा सत्कार करेंगे और मुझसे पूछेंगे कि कंस उनके परिवार वालों के साथ कैसा व्यवहार कर रहा है। ।। १०-३८-२३ ।।

Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: My dear King, while the son of Śvaphalka, traveling on the road, thus meditated deeply on Śrī Kṛṣṇa, he reached Gokula as the sun was beginning to set. ।। 10-38-24 ।।

english translation

शुकदेव गोस्वामी ने आगे कहा : हे राजन्, मार्ग पर जाते हुए श्वफल्कपुत्र (अक्रूर) कृष्ण के विषय में इस तरह गम्भीरतापूर्वक ध्यान करते करते जब गोकुल पहुँचे तो सूर्यअस्त होने को था। ।। १०-३८-२४ ।।

पदानि तस्याखिललोकपालकिरीटजुष्टामलपादरेणोः । ददर्श गोष्ठे क्षितिकौतुकानि विलक्षितान्यब्जयवाङ्कुशाद्यैः ।। १०-३८-२५ ।।

In the cowherd pasture Akrūra saw the footprints of those feet whose pure dust the rulers of all the planets in the universe hold on their crowns. Those footprints of the Lord, distinguished by such marks as the lotus, barleycorn and elephant goad, made the ground wonderfully beautiful. ।। 10-38-25 ।।

english translation

चरागाह में अक्रूर ने उन पैरों के चिन्ह देखे जिनकी शुद्ध धूल को समस्त ब्रह्माण्डों के लोकपाल अपने मुकुटों में धारण करते हैं। भगवान् के वे चरणचिन्ह जो कमल, वांकुर तथा अंकुश जैसे चिन्हों से पहचाने जा सकते थे, पृथ्वी की शोभा को बढ़ा रहे थे। ।। १०-३८-२५ ।।
