अप्यङ्घ्रिमूले पतितस्य मे विभुः शिरस्यधास्यन्निजहस्तपङ्कजम् । दत्ताभयं कालभुजङ्गरंहसा प्रोद्वेजितानां शरणैषिणां नृणाम् ॥ १०-३८-१६ ॥
And when I have fallen at His feet, the almighty Lord will place His lotus hand upon my head. For those who seek shelter in Him because they are greatly disturbed by the powerful serpent of time, that hand removes all fear. ॥ 10-38-16 ॥

और जब मैं उनके चरणों पर गिर पडूँगा तो सर्वशक्तिमान प्रभु मेरे सिर पर अपना करकमल रख देंगे। जो लोग काल रूपी शक्तिशाली सर्प से अत्यन्त विचलित होकर उनकी शरण में जाते हैं, यह हाथ उनके सारे भय को दूर कर देता है। ॥ १०-३८-१६ ॥

समर्हणं यत्र निधाय कौशिकस्तथा बलिश्चाप जगत्त्रयेन्द्रताम् । यद्वा विहारे व्रजयोषितां श्रमं स्पर्शेन सौगन्धिकगन्ध्यपानुदत् ॥ १०-३८-१७ ॥
By offering charity to that lotus hand, Purandara and Bali earned the status of Indra, King of heaven, and during the pleasure pastimes of the rāsa dance, when the Lord wiped away the gopīs’ perspiration and removed their fatigue, the touch of their faces made that hand as fragrant as a sweet flower. ॥ 10-38-17 ॥

उस कमल सदृश हाथ में दान देकर पुरन्दर तथा बलि ने स्वर्ग के राजा इन्द्र के पद को प्राप्त किया और रासनृत्य की आनन्द लीलाओं के समय जब भगवान् ने गोपियों के पसीने को पोंछकर उनकी थकान दूर की तो उनके मुखस्पर्श ने उस हाथ को मधुर फूल की तरह सुगन्धित बना दिया। ॥ १०-३८-१७ ॥

न मय्युपैष्यत्यरिबुद्धिमच्युतः कंसस्य दूतः प्रहितोऽपि विश्वदृक् । योऽन्तर्बहिश्चेतस एतदीहितं क्षेत्रज्ञ ईक्षत्यमलेन चक्षुषा ॥ १०-३८-१८ ॥
The infallible Lord will not consider me an enemy, even though Kaṁsa has sent me here as his messenger. After all, the omniscient Lord is the actual knower of the field of this material body, and with His perfect vision He witnesses, both externally and internally, all the endeavors of the conditioned soul’s heart. ॥ 10-38-18 ॥

यद्यपि कंस ने मुझे यहाँ अपना दूत बनाकर भेजा है किन्तु अच्युत भगवान् मुझे अपना शत्रु नहीं मानेंगे। आखिर, सर्वज्ञ प्रभु इस भौतिक शरीर रूपी क्षेत्र के वास्तविक ज्ञाता हैं (क्षेत्रज्ञ) और वे अपनी पूर्ण दृष्टि से बद्धजीवों के हृदय के सारे प्रयासों को अन्दर और बाहर से देखते हैं। ॥ १०-३८-१८ ॥

अप्यङ्घ्रिमूलेऽवहितं कृताञ्जलिं मामीक्षिता सस्मितमार्द्रया दृशा । सपद्यपध्वस्तसमस्तकिल्बिषो वोढा मुदं वीतविशङ्क ऊर्जिताम् ॥ १०-३८-१९ ॥
Thus He will cast His smiling, affectionate glance upon me as I remain fixed with joined palms, fallen in obeisances at His feet. Then all my contamination will at once be dispelled, and I will give up all doubts and feel the most intense bliss. ॥ 10-38-19 ॥

इस तरह जब मैं हाथ जोडक़र उनके पैरों पर प्रणाम करने के लिए गिरकर पड़ा रहूँगा वे अपनी हँसीयुक्त स्नेहमयी चितवन मुझ पर डालेंगे। तब मेरा सारा कल्मष छू-मन्तर हो जायेगा। तब मेरे सारे संशय दूर हो जायेंगे और मैं गहन आनन्द का अनुभव करूँगा। ॥ १०-३८-१९ ॥

सुहृत्तमं ज्ञातिमनन्यदैवतं दोर्भ्यां बृहद्भ्यां परिरप्स्यतेऽथ माम् । आत्मा हि तीर्थीक्रियते तदैव मे बन्धश्च कर्मात्मक उच्छ्वसित्यतः ॥ १०-३८-२० ॥
Recognizing me as an intimate friend and relative, Kṛṣṇa will embrace me with His mighty arms, instantly sanctifying my body and diminishing to nil all my material bondage, which is due to fruitive activities. ॥ 10-38-20 ॥

मुझे अपने घनिष्ठ मित्र तथा सम्बन्धी के रूप में पहचान कर कृष्ण अपनी विशाल भुजाओं से मुझे अपने गले लगा लेंगे जिससे उसी क्षण मेरा शरीर पवित्र हो जायेगा और सकाम कर्मों से जनित मेरे भौतिक बन्धन शून्य हो जायेंगे। ॥ १०-३८-२० ॥
