Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī continued: Then one time, having seen the great disturbances in Bṛhadvana, all the elderly persons among the cowherd men, headed by Nanda Mahārāja, assembled and began to consider what to do to stop the continuous disturbing situations in Vraja. ।। 10-11-21 ।।

श्रीशुकदेव गोस्वामी ने आगे कहा : तब एक बार बृहद्वन में बड़े बड़े उपद्रव देख कर नन्द महाराज तथा वृद्ध ग्वाले एकत्र हुए और विचार करने लगे कि व्रज में लगातार होने वाले उपद्रवों को रोकने के लिए क्या किया जाय। ।। १०-११-२१ ।।

The child Kṛṣṇa, simply by the mercy of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, was somehow or other rescued from the hands of the Rākṣasī Pūtanā, who was determined to kill Him. Then, again by the mercy of the Supreme Godhead, the handcart missed falling upon the child. ।। 10-11-24 ।।

यह बालक कृष्ण, एकमात्र भगवान् की दया से किसी न किसी तरह राक्षसी पूतना के हाथों से बच सका क्योंकि वह उन्हें मारने पर उतारू थी। फिर यह भगवान् की कृपा ही थी कि वह छकड़ा इस बालक पर नहीं गिरा। ।। १०-११-२४ ।।

Then again, the demon Tṛṇāvarta, in the form of a whirlwind, took the child away into the dangerous sky to kill Him, but the demon fell down onto a slab of stone. In that case also, by the mercy of Lord Viṣṇu or His associates, the child was saved. ।। 10-11-25 ।।

इसके बाद बवंडर के रूप में आया तृणावर्त असुर इस बालक को मार डालने के लिए संकटमय आकाश में ले गया किन्तु वह असुर पत्थर की एक शिला पर गिर पड़ा। तब भी भगवान् विष्णु या उनके संगियों की कृपा से यह बालक बच गया था। ।। १०-११-२५ ।।
