हे रामागच्छ ताताशु सानुजः कुलनन्दन । प्रातरेव कृताहारस्तद्भवान् भोक्तुमर्हति ।। १०-११-१६ ।।

My dear Baladeva, best of our family, please come immediately with Your younger brother, Kṛṣṇa. You both ate in the morning, and now You ought to eat something more. ।। 10-11-16 ।।

english translation

हमारे परिवार के सर्वश्रेष्ठ मेरे प्यारे बलदेव, तुरन्त अपने छोटे भाई कृष्ण सहित आ जाओ। तुम दोनों ने सुबह ही खाया था और अब तुम्हें कुछ और खाना चाहिए। ।। १०-११-१६ ।।

प्रतीक्षते त्वां दाशार्ह भोक्ष्यमाणो व्रजाधिपः । एह्यावयोः प्रियं धेहि स्वगृहान् यात बालकाः ।। १०-११-१७ ।।

sanskrit

Nanda Mahārāja, the King of Vraja, is now waiting to eat. O my dear son Balarāma, he is waiting for You. Therefore, come back to please us. All the boys playing with You and Kṛṣṇa should now go to their homes. ।। 10-11-17 ।।

english translation

अब व्रज के राजा नन्द महाराज खाने के लिए तुम्हारी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। हे मेरे बेटे बलराम, वे तुम्हारी प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं अत: हमारी प्रसन्नता के लिए तुम वापस आ जाओ। तुम्हारे साथ तथा कृष्ण के साथ खेल रहे सारे बालकों को अपने अपने घर जाना चाहिए। ।। १०-११-१७ ।।

धूलिधूसरिताङ्गस्त्वं पुत्र मज्जनमावह । जन्मर्क्षमद्य भवतो विप्रेभ्यो देहि गाः शुचिः ।। १०-११-१८ ।।

Mother Yaśodā further told Kṛṣṇa: My dear son, because of playing all day, Your body has become covered with dust and sand. Therefore, come back, take Your bath and cleanse Yourself. Today the moon is conjoined with the auspicious star of Your birth. Therefore, be pure and give cows in charity to the brāhmaṇas. ।। 10-11-18 ।।

english translation

माता यशोदा ने आगे भी कृष्ण से कहा : हे पुत्र, दिन-भर खेलते रहने से तुम्हारा सारा शरीर धूल तथा रेत से भर गया है। अत: वापस आ जाओ, स्नान करो और अपनी सफाई करो। आज तुम्हारे जन्म के शुभ नक्षत्र से चाँद मेल खा रहा है, अत: शुद्ध होकर ब्राह्मणों को गौवों का दान करो। ।। १०-११-१८ ।।

पश्य पश्य वयस्यांस्ते मातृमृष्टान् स्वलङ्कृतान् । त्वं च स्नातः कृताहारो विहरस्व स्वलङ्कृतः ।। १०-११-१९ ।।

Just see how all Your playmates of Your own age have been cleansed and decorated with beautiful ornaments by their mothers. You should come here, and after You have taken Your bath, eaten Your lunch and been decorated with ornaments, You may play with Your friends again. ।। 10-11-19 ।।

english translation

जरा अपनी उम्र वाले अपने सारे साथियों को तो देखो कि वे किस तरह अपनी माताओं द्वारा नहलाये-धुलाये तथा सुन्दर आभूषणों से सजाये गये हैं। तुम यहाँ आओ और स्नान करने, भोजन खाने तथा आभूषणों से अलंकृत होने के बाद फिर अपने सखाओं के साथ खेल सकते हो। ।। १०-११-१९ ।।

इत्थं यशोदा तमशेषशेखरं मत्वा सुतं स्नेहनिबद्धधीर्नृप । हस्ते गृहीत्वा सह राममच्युतं नीत्वा स्ववाटं कृतवत्यथोदयम् ।। १०-११-२० ।।

My dear Mahārāja Parīkṣit, because of intense love and affection, mother Yaśodā, Kṛṣṇa’s mother, considered Kṛṣṇa, who was at the peak of all opulences, to be her own son. Thus she took Kṛṣṇa by the hand, along with Balarāma, and brought Them home, where she performed her duties by fully bathing Them, dressing Them and feeding Them. ।। 10-11-20 ।।

english translation

हे महाराज परीक्षित, अत्यधिक प्रेमवश माता यशोदा ने समस्त ऐश्वर्यों के शिखर पर आसीन कृष्ण को अपना पुत्र माना। इस तरह वे बलराम के साथ कृष्ण को हाथ से पकड़ कर घर ले आईं जहाँ उन्हें नहलाने-धुलाने, वस्त्र पहनाने तथा भोजन खिलाने का उन्होंने अपना काम पूरा किया। ।। १०-११-२० ।।

itthaM yazodA tamazeSazekharaM matvA sutaM snehanibaddhadhIrnRpa | haste gRhItvA saha rAmamacyutaM nItvA svavATaM kRtavatyathodayam || 10-11-20 ||
