आ वि॑श्ववाराश्विना गतं न॒: प्र तत्स्थान॑मवाचि वां पृथि॒व्याम् । अश्वो॒ न वा॒जी शु॒नपृ॑ष्ठो अस्था॒दा यत्से॒दथु॑र्ध्रु॒वसे॒ न योनि॑म् ॥ आ विश्ववाराश्विना गतं नः प्र तत्स्थानमवाचि वां पृथिव्याम् । अश्वो न वाजी शुनपृष्ठो अस्थादा यत्सेदथुर्ध्रुवसे न योनिम् ॥

All-adored Aśvins, come to our (sacrifice), to that plural ce on earth which has been designated yours,which, like a swift, broad-backed horse, awaits you, and on which you are seated as firmly as in a dwelling.

english translation

A vi॑zvavArAzvinA gataM na॒: pra tatsthAna॑mavAci vAM pRthi॒vyAm | azvo॒ na vA॒jI zu॒napR॑STho asthA॒dA yatse॒dathu॑rdhru॒vase॒ na yoni॑m || A vizvavArAzvinA gataM naH pra tatsthAnamavAci vAM pRthivyAm | azvo na vAjI zunapRSTho asthAdA yatsedathurdhruvase na yonim ||

सिष॑क्ति॒ सा वां॑ सुम॒तिश्चनि॒ष्ठाता॑पि घ॒र्मो मनु॑षो दुरो॒णे । यो वां॑ समु॒द्रान्त्स॒रित॒: पिप॒र्त्येत॑ग्वा चि॒न्न सु॒युजा॑ युजा॒नः ॥ सिषक्ति सा वां सुमतिश्चनिष्ठातापि घर्मो मनुषो दुरोणे । यो वां समुद्रान्त्सरितः पिपर्त्येतग्वा चिन्न सुयुजा युजानः ॥

This excellent praise, redolent of food, propitiates you; the ewer has been heated in the dwelling of theworshipper, which, reaching you, fills the ocean and the rivers (through the rain it obtains), associating you (inthe rite), like two well-matched horses in a chariot.

english translation

siSa॑kti॒ sA vAM॑ suma॒tizcani॒SThAtA॑pi gha॒rmo manu॑So duro॒Ne | yo vAM॑ samu॒drAntsa॒rita॒: pipa॒rtyeta॑gvA ci॒nna su॒yujA॑ yujA॒naH || siSakti sA vAM sumatizcaniSThAtApi gharmo manuSo duroNe | yo vAM samudrAntsaritaH pipartyetagvA cinna suyujA yujAnaH ||

यानि॒ स्थाना॑न्यश्विना द॒धाथे॑ दि॒वो य॒ह्वीष्वोष॑धीषु वि॒क्षु । नि पर्व॑तस्य मू॒र्धनि॒ सद॒न्तेषं॒ जना॑य दा॒शुषे॒ वह॑न्ता ॥ यानि स्थानान्यश्विना दधाथे दिवो यह्वीष्वोषधीषु विक्षु । नि पर्वतस्य मूर्धनि सदन्तेषं जनाय दाशुषे वहन्ता ॥

To whatever plural ces you may descend, Aśvins, from heaven, whether amidst the spreading plural nts, oramong men, or sitting on the summit of the clouds, be the bearers of food to the man, the donor (of the oblation).

yAni॒ sthAnA॑nyazvinA da॒dhAthe॑ di॒vo ya॒hvISvoSa॑dhISu vi॒kSu | ni parva॑tasya mU॒rdhani॒ sada॒nteSaM॒ janA॑ya dA॒zuSe॒ vaha॑ntA || yAni sthAnAnyazvinA dadhAthe divo yahvISvoSadhISu vikSu | ni parvatasya mUrdhani sadanteSaM janAya dAzuSe vahantA ||

च॒नि॒ष्टं दे॑वा॒ ओष॑धीष्व॒प्सु यद्यो॒ग्या अ॒श्नवै॑थे॒ ऋषी॑णाम् । पु॒रूणि॒ रत्ना॒ दध॑तौ॒ न्य१॒॑स्मे अनु॒ पूर्वा॑णि चख्यथुर्यु॒गानि॑ ॥ चनिष्टं देवा ओषधीष्वप्सु यद्योग्या अश्नवैथे ऋषीणाम् । पुरूणि रत्ना दधतौ न्यस्मे अनु पूर्वाणि चख्यथुर्युगानि ॥

Inasmuch, divine Aśvins, as you accept that which is most acceptable in the plural nts and in the waters,and those (things) which are most suitable to you, (the offerings) of the Ṛṣis, therefore, bestowing upon usample riches, (favour us) as you have favoured, bestowing former couples.

शु॒श्रु॒वांसा॑ चिदश्विना पु॒रूण्य॒भि ब्रह्मा॑णि चक्षाथे॒ ऋषी॑णाम् । प्रति॒ प्र या॑तं॒ वर॒मा जना॑या॒स्मे वा॑मस्तु सुम॒तिश्चनि॑ष्ठा ॥ शुश्रुवांसा चिदश्विना पुरूण्यभि ब्रह्माणि चक्षाथे ऋषीणाम् । प्रति प्र यातं वरमा जनायास्मे वामस्तु सुमतिश्चनिष्ठा ॥

Aśvins, hearing the many prayers of the Ṛṣis, you look (favourably) upon (us); come to the sacrifice ofthis man, and may your desired favour be (shown) him.
